This homewrecker has been trying to seduce my fiancee. My fiancee ignored him, but he still wouldn't give up. Now he's followed us all the way to our workplace. Several classmates who used to be on good terms with me apologized in quiet voices as they passed me while being taken away. James struggled to crawl toward me, and he grabbed my pant leg. "Can you forgive me, Celeste?" I shook my head coldly. James looked like he was in pain as he proceeded to throw up more blood. He passed out after that. Their regrets meant nothing to me. I could never forgive them for what they did to me. This entire fiasco was streamed live by a passerby. It took only a few hours for it to trend. Everything happened so fast, and angry comments filled the stream.

The whispers surrounding them grew tenfold after the Walkers did that, and the guests slowly started to split up. Since both families were powerful, people didn't know which sides to take.

The four kids that were still in the parking lot begin making their way over, shifting into skinwalkers as well. "Double crap." Chris turned to look at his brother. Emma kicked at one of the walkers, but she just bounced off him and landed on the ground. Another skinwalker snarled, clawing at Kate. She dodged, kicking him in the snout. He howled in pain, then attacked her again.

He made a move towards it, but Jake’s hand shot out, grabbing his shoulder. “Slowly,” Jake whispered. “We clear the area first. You don’t just run to your prize.” They moved as a unit, a three-headed creature of survival. Ethel covered the rear, her pistol a comforting weight in her hand. Jake took the lead, his hatchet held low and ready. They moved between the concrete pillars, dispatching two lone walkers with quick, efficient blows to the head before they could even raise a groan. The silence of the kills was profound, a testament to their practiced lethality.

She simply liked seeing them happy. That evening, the three walked home. The sun was setting, casting long shadows across the pavement. Nate and Ilyas walked ahead while Eliana followed.
