I am running out of ideas. I think I need to watch some suspense, mystery, thriller movies to help me give ideas. It wasn’t my intention to classify horror movies as cheap.

Not like I need his praise to feel like a big shot. Who cares if he thinks it’s cool that I enjoyed them? “What’s your favorite?” He prods further. I remain silent, not knowing if continuing this conversation is necessary, not wanting myself to relax while in the lion’s den. Still, I feel compelled to either way. “I’m into the classics, actually. The Exorcist and Nightmare On Elm Street.” He sucks in his breath, shaking his head slowly in disapproval, and I raise a brow. What self-proclaimed fan of horror doesn’t have those two in their top 10?

As we browsed through a selection of movies, he asked, "So, what kind of thriller are you in the mood for tonight?" I considered the options, but in the end, I let Sebastian make the choice. After all, he seemed to have a knack for selecting delightful surprises. He picked a suspenseful thriller about a woman who had been bullied and sought revenge, promising an evening of suspense and intrigue. The movie began, we found ourselves engrossed in the plot, our casual conversation weaving seamlessly into the film's suspenseful revenge movie. Sebastian even surprised me by whipping up a quick batch of popcorn, adding a touch of authenticity to our cinematic experience.
