"Tiffany, please don't make me repeat myself. I just want to know why you forged a consent for the hospital and what exactly happened to Ari. How did she overdose when she doesn't even take drugs?" Tiffany looks up from the floor and I can see the unshed tears brimming her eyes. Her lips tremble as she begins to speak. "I—I—Ari—" Her words are interrupted by hiccups and she seems to have trouble breathing. "Hey, calm down," I say, taking her hand in mine. I lead her to one of the metal seats available there before heading to a dispenser. I fill a paper cup with water and hand it over to her. I watch as she takes a sip and I wait until she's calm enough before I take a seat next to her.

I threw my keys onto the marble counter, exhausted, and pulled out a carton of eggs and a carton of milk from the fridge. My phone buzzed against the marble surface. **Jeremiah [Text]:** *You survived the morning? Talia said you looked ready to murder the entire rink.* A small, genuine smile finally touched my lips. I typed back with one hand. **Athena [Text]:** *Currently hiding in my kitchen trying to make food before I actually go unhinged on a clout-chaser.* **Jeremiah [Text]:** *Don't touch the stove. I'm already on Wilshire. Five minutes.*

Arzhel and Arriana were already in the car. Arriana sat next to Arzhel, who was busy checking his iPad, reading some emails. Meanwhile, Arriana was feeling intimidated by the two big guys in front of them. Arzhel glanced at her, and he noticed that Arriana looked so scared. He turned off his iPad and looked at Arriana. He raised his hand. He was closing and opening his hand, hesitant, and felt awkward to comfort a child, but in the end he chose to confront her when he saw her starting to have teary eyes.

She let out a cute smile and Teddy nodded carryindg the tray. Theresa and Teddy's hands were so fast on the keyboard with so many displays that the other kids could not understand at all. “Here you go, Travis.” Teddy gave him a cup of yoghurt same with Theresa, while Trisha gave them cookies. “Where is Tania?” Trisha questioned. “She is playing games,” Theresa responded. “I will get this to her now, but any progress so far?” She questioned and Teddy replied, “We are making forty percent progress already.”

“The greenhouse is looking good.” I nod. “Juno is doing a great job and the pups like to help plant the seeds.” “So what are you doing lurking around here?” Liam asks. “Lurking,” I snort. “I don't lurk. I’m monitoring their progress.” He grins. Cheeky ass whole. “Well I'm glad I caught up with you then. I was checking on Aira and Felix myself.” My attention drifts back to the arena. Felix stands in the center with Aria, tablet in hand, something glowing across the screen as he talks her through another exercise.

Mia’s POV The underwater base had become a living, breathing home over the past year. Twenty-three children moved through the reinforced corridors with a rhythm that was equal parts beautiful and overwhelming. Theo and Elias, now thirteen, led training sessions for the older group with a seriousness that mirrored their father’s intensity. Seraphina and Aurora, eleven, spent hours in the digital library piecing together the history we had carefully edited for them. The younger ones filled the nurseries with laughter, arguments, and the endless energy of childhood.

Arieon knew that the last seemed familiar but she couldn't place her finger on it. The board meeting ended and everyone was dismissed. Her body was rolling against his coat. "Your affection, Aeron said as Aero softly nipped at our muzzle. "That's nasty." A voice said we looked up to see Tae staring at the two of us on the ground, "Go be lovely dovey somewhere else." She said Aeron growled towards her as Liya pushed off of him and rushed towards her. Liya threw her body against Tae as she softly whined, "Hey! Quit it!" Tae giggled as Liya pushed her nose against her leg.

She changed her clothes, carelessly grabbed a bite to eat, and got ready to head out when Tanya suddenly spoke up with her bag in hand, “You have a car, don’t you? Drop me off at Ricky’s so I can save on cab fare.” Eric’s house was completely out of the way from the hospital, but Tiffany agreed without hesitation. “Sure, I’ll drop you off then go to the hospital. Ari sure looked scary after her surgery. She’s most afraid of snakes. I’m sure that she’d stay perfectly still if I threw a snake at her. She was so weak that her breathing was extremely shallow. I hope she’s feeling better today.” Tanya didn’t answer. She truly wasn’t interested in anything involving Arianne at the moment. A povert

I took a short cold water bath to get the heat out of my system before sitting in the large inner garden and sharing a cake for breakfast with Ariel. “She’s so mean sometimes!” Ariel whined, complaining about the way some maid called Tia makes snide remarks about her teeth. “Like look, are my teeth too big?” She rolled back her lips, pushing her head forward so her teeth stuck out further, they were alright to me. “Your teeth look perfectly fine to me…” I said and she nodded in agreement saying, “Thank you!” “Don’t mention.” I replied lazily, getting tired of her story that has now transitioned into something concerning eggs and rude baker man.
