Aerith X Cloud Novels & Stories

So I asked Lucas and seek for an answer. "Master, as you can see, here in Tórshavn, the weather is always cloudy and gloomy..." Yep, I knew 'bout that. "Because, Tórshavn is the cloudiest place in the world. In this specific spot, it was like you can really reach the clouds with your fingertips." Lucas did raise his hands, as if he was really touching the clouds.

Richard said feeling somewhat guilty. "Don't mind him, he dated almost all my friends in highschool, I think is time for me to payback," she explained. "I don't think you will be able to do that," Thomas said. They talked for minutes before they noticed that the sky was getting cloudier. "It seems like is going to rain soon," Richard informed and they all looked at the sky. "You are right, we should probably head back," Achuba suggested. "It was really fun having you guys here today," Thomas's sister said.

" Bold." "Of course I am, I know the future is fluid code. Have you heard of Project Aether?" "Rumors," Julian admitted. "Vaporware, the board killed it." "The board is comprised of cowards," I said smoothly. "I built Aether. It works and if you give me five minutes, I'll explain how it can save your data centers forty percent in cooling costs alone." Julian set his glass down. He looked at me for the first time. "I'm listening."

[Ayla's POV] I stare out the window of Aera's car trying to fight the urge to ask him exactly what is going through his head. Since leaving Crimson Tides, neither of us had spoken, which would have been fine, but there were so many unasked questions hovering around us that it was about to drive me insane. "Why?" I finally ask, unable to take it any longer. "Why are you doing this?" "Doing what?" Aera murmurs, keeping his gaze fixed directly on the road. "I don't know what you mean."

"I optimized the grading curve! It was statistically unfair!" Kai is thirteen too, but he looks... ephemeral. His bio-luminescence is bright today, flashing blue with his agitation. He’s hovering—literally floating—three inches off the couch. "And Aria?" I ask, walking in and kicking off my heels. "In the cloud," Alex says from the kitchen, pouring wine. "She's been deep-diving for six hours. She says she found a new cluster of nebulas in the data stream." Aria is fourteen. She’s beautiful, terrifying, and mostly silent. She communicates in packet bursts of pure thought.

rasp. Beside him, Aria sat with a paper map spread across her lap. Her "long ash-brown hair" was tied back, revealing the "incisive" set of her jaw. She looked "fragile" but lethal, a mother who had traded her florist’s shears for a "Zero-Point" scrambler. "The atmospheric pressure is dropping," Aria noted, glancing at the mechanical barometer Ethan had mounted on the dash. "The 'Fog-Wall' is moving in. It’ll help hide our thermal bloom, but it makes the coastal roads a death trap."

The summer rain came without warning. Asher and Carter stood outside the door, drenched by the pouring rain. "Dad?" Carter's voice carried endless panic. "Has Mom really abandoned us?" Asher closed his eyes. His heart was already bleeding. He knew he could no longer deceive his son or himself. Winona truly did not want them anymore. … The next morning, Winona arrived at Julian's door early. The moment the door opened, Yara flew into her arms, clinging tightly and refusing to let go.

“It’s enough play for today Liam, the sky is getting cloudy it might rain soon. Let’s go inside” Aurora announced as the little one kept running around the garden in ecstasy, the joy of having her play with him was evident on his face and he couldn’t contain his happiness. “ I heard it is beautiful to play in the rain unique eyes, why don’t we try it?” He asked jubilantly and she smiled but declined. If his father heard she allowed him to play in the rain, he would definitely have her head.

But real. She froze. “What… was that?” Kael didn’t answer. “Aria,” he said, more serious now. “Stay still.” Too late. Her breathing picked up. And with it The pressure inside her chest grew stronger. “I can’t—” she started, her voice unsteady. The wind hit first. Not strong. But sudden. Sharp. It circled around her, kicking up dust and loose leaves. Aria stepped back instinctively. “Make it stop.” “You need to calm down,” Kael said.

They drifted in a slow, rhythmic dance, their underside trailing long, glowing vines of bio-luminescent moss. “This is the ‘Aero-Node’,” Aris explained, her hair whipping wildly in the salt-heavy sea breeze. Her sensors were going haywire, unable to lock onto a single gravity constant. “It doesn't just hold the rocks up; it controls the atmospheric pressure, the weather, and the tides of the entire hemisphere. If we claim it, we don't just find a home—we control of the very movement of the world. We can literally blow the mercury ships out of the sky.”
