"See you when you are not obsessing over Jack." Did she make it that obvious? He notices that she likes Jack, but Jack looks at her differently than he did before, and something changes. Claire was sitting in her car when her phone rang. Unknown number. Hesitantly she answers the phone; a deep voice says, "orders to be carried out tomorrow will be sent in an encrypted text. It can only be opened once; thirty seconds after viewing the message, it will disappear. Remember the instructions to carry it out. No mistake is accepted.”

Time. It was a funny thing. Confusing and scary, dreadful. For some, it was much more positive than that. They found hope in time. "Time heals all wounds." They looked forward to the next day ⏤ the next week ⏤ month ⏤ year, and so on.

It’s Time

There was no time to make him dinner. Still, I nodded. I could change my flight to 10 p.m. and let that meal be my last goodbye.

"Don't worry. I'm not interested in your position." What interested me were the Alpha family's knowledge and resources. Everything that had taken me over ten years to obtain in my previous life had now been placed directly in front of me. Why would I refuse such a shortcut? The Bodyguards boy

The Bodyguards boy

Rowan didn’t answer. His eyes stayed fixed on the top corner of the screen on the timestamp ticking forward in quiet precision. Seconds. Minutes. Then A skip. So small it almost passed as nothing. Rowan’s fingers stilled. “There,” he said. Taryn stepped closer. “What?” He pointed. “The time.” She leaned in, squinting slightly. “…it jumps.” “Yeah.” “By how much?” Rowan dragged the cursor back, slower this time. “Forty-seven seconds.”

its own history. Audrey, the Great Governor, oversaw the synchronization. This wasn't time travel; it was "Temporal-Maintenance." By installing "Phase-Shifting-Pistons" into the fabric of the Fourth Dimension, the Union could pump "Stale-Time" back into the "Universal-Heart" to be re-ignited as "Fresh-Potential." Shift

“Your body might be starting the shifting process, Sky. You can’t just discount discomfort.” I took her wrist and gently moved it away from my neck. “How about I try to make dinner and you tell me about how this whole thing works.” Her eyebrow went up. “Did you…did you not learn about shifting?” Pulling out a knife and cubing up the spam, I laughed. “I mean, you kind of tend to tune out things you don’t think you’re ever going to need. Plus, when everyone around us was shifting, we were pretty much on lock down to make sure we wouldn’t. Since it’s not a birthday thing, Father thought we might shift past the inhibitor.”

Julirys Barreto
10 out of 10! This book had me hooked from start to finish and has me wanting more! Not saying that you have to but this would make a great series, a book for each main character, I'd read them all! Glad to hear you're feeling better, keep taking care of yourself and writing these awesome stories! ...

So far, so good. I like the author's writing style and ability to have both strong and weak female & male characters. There are some grammar and spelling errors, but minor and easy to overlook. Better communication regarding updates would be appreciated, but this platform is not for career money.
