Gender-swapping 'Gravity Falls' characters is such a fun creative exercise! For Dipper, imagine a female version—maybe named 'Daisy'—who retains his curiosity and awkwardness but with a more tomboyish vibe. Her hat could be a beanie instead of a cap, and she'd still obsess over journals, just with a slightly different style. Mabel as a boy ('Mason' feels too on-the-nose, so perhaps 'Max') would keep the glitter and sweaters but with a chaotic, boyish energy—like a tiny rainbow tornado. Stan could become 'Stella,' a gruff but glamorous con artist with the same sleazy charm, and Soos as 'Susan' would be just as lovably dim but with a mechanic’s jumpsuit tied around her waist. Wendy’s male counterpart ('Wade'?) could be the cool, flannel-clad older guy who’s secretly a softie. The best part? Their personalities wouldn’t need to change much—it’s all about how their quirks translate to a different gender. I’d love to see fanart of this!

For the side characters, Pacifica as a snobby rich boy ('Preston'?) would be hilarious, especially if he still had that hidden vulnerability. Gideon could be 'Gwendolyn,' a tiny, manipulative girl with ringlets and a vendetta. Even Bill Cipher could get a twist—maybe a more androgynous, sinister jester vibe. The show’s humor and heart would stay intact, just with fresh dynamics. It’s wild how small tweaks can make familiar characters feel new again. I might doodle some of these later!

I'm another Gravity Falls junkie who is attracted by that strange little town and it's wonderful people. So it is sad for me to say with final that at present here are no words about when we'll see more of our beloved series.

But that's no how it has to be, Alex Hirsch the creator said he would like to keep going the story in the future whether in episodes or something else.So in the meantime, perhaps you might have a go at "Over the Garden Wall".
