The Blackwell Claim
"Join us, lover. Your sister was just telling me about my manners."
Kan’s eyes narrowed, a flash of silver-blue heat hitting his irises. He moved across the kitchen with the silent grace of a shark, sliding into the chair beside Timothy. He reached out, his large hand wrapping around the back of Timothy’s neck. It was a heavy, possessive weight.
"She's Gideon’s sister, Tim," Kan muttered, his voice a low vibration near Timothy's ear.
"Sister?" Timothy blinked, finally putting the pieces together. He’d thought she was a jilted ex-lover. The realization didn't make him like her any better.
