A little sad that this story has ended. Really looking forward to the sequel involving their kids. Just wondering if Harry knew how Rita originally conspired as a gold digger to get pregnant, marry him & planned on ditching him for money.Yes, she then fell in love with him, but still, she's not pure
Fee Love
The ending was a disappointment to me & I feel as Alice should have been more upfront with Harry with the type of life she wanted instead of just trying to fit into his & going along with the flow. Harry shouldn't have ended up that way & Devin should had been a better friend.

Wet For Daddy

Wet For Daddy

“Fuck—say my name when I’m inside you,” Drake’s voice was a dark growl against my ear, his hand pinning mine above the headboard. “Drake… oh God, harder—” I cried, my body arching into his relentless thrusts. “Not just Drake. Say what I am to you.” “My ex’s father,” I gasped, shame and desire tangling on my tongue. “That’s right, sweetheart. And now you’re mine.” It was supposed to be a reckless mistake. A reckless mistake with a stranger after catching my boyfriend screwing my best friend. But the stranger wasn’t a stranger at all. He was Drake Humphrey. My ex-boyfriend’s father. Older. Filthy rich. Ruthlessly dominant. The man I should have run from. Instead, I let him own me. In his penthouse, on his desk, in his car. I let him ruin me with every touch. But what started as lust has become obsession. Drake doesn’t just want my body. He wants my heart. He wants me under his name, his control, his power. And when our secret erupts, the world around us catches fire. My ex wants revenge. His mother wants blood. His father wants me. And I can’t decide if I’ve been destroyed… or if I’ve finally come alive.

Frequently Asked Questions

one thing people consistently misunderstand is that a heartstopping meet-cute is secondary to giving both characters a life outside the romance. A character who exists only to pine after someone else is a shadow. Readers stay for the glimpses of that external world—the protagonist stressing about their startup failing, their complicated family dinners, their passion for restoring old motorcycles. The tension comes from watching the romance become a priority that conflicts with these other, established priorities. That's where the real, messy choices happen.

Another trap is writing 'perfect' characters. Flaws shouldn't be cute quirks, like 'she's clumsy!' A genuine flaw is something that actively sabotages their chance at happiness. Maybe he's so conflict-averse he'll ghost at the first sign of trouble. Maybe her pride prevents her from ever admitting she's wrong. The other character's journey isn't about fixing that flaw, but about learning to navigate around it, or loving them despite it, which is infinitely more satisfying.

Finally, a lot of drafts I see rely on internal monologue to convey feelings: 'He made my heart flutter.' That's telling. Instead, show the disorientation. Maybe she walks into a lamppost after he smiles at her. Maybe he meticulously plans a date based on one offhand comment she made six weeks ago. Let the reader assemble the emotional truth from these little, concrete actions. The payoff when one character finally verbalizes what we've all been seeing is electric.
