he said, already moving toward the door. "Raph, genuinely, thank you. Taking me in the way you did after finding me in that state was not something I expected from anyone. You are different from what I thought," I said and he turned and looked at me. "Nobody with sense abandons their mate in a situation like that. And even without the bond, leaving someone in that condition was never going to happen. Nobody gets treated that way in my pack," he said, his voice was cold and his words were calculated.

Raphael’s POV "Come on Raph, you think you can fool me?" "No, gramps, I am not trying to fool you. It's just, the way it is, I don't have a plus one." "So you are saying that all through your twenty years over there, you don't even have an ex that you could try to bring with you?" "If I told you I don't would you believe me?" I asked Gramps was quiet for a while "Well, I will believe you; you've always been the weirdest amongst us all." He chuckled

Besides he managed to seduce me with his touch and make me forget what I was going to ask him. I was scared of what his answer would be. The thing with Raph is complicated. I have to be mentally prepared for the worst when it comes to him. I was scared of what he would say about my eyes so I never brought it up and just let it be, despite how much I wanted to ask. I was desperate to know why but I wasn't ready to hear the answer either way.

It was Raph. It was such a small world. Kaze ran into the scammer back at Snow’s place during his train ride to Sunrise City. “Raph!” Butch seemed to know Raph. He looked at Raph in shock. Raph snapped Butch an angry look and criticized, “What has gotten into you? It’s on you if you disturb the VIPs here.” Butch shuddered and glanced at the stoic young man standing behind Raph. The young man gave Butch a look before closing his eyes and saying nothing.

They both stood there watching the now pale face of their beautiful mate. Raph closed his eyes, feeling his weak knees turn into jelly and he slumped hard to the ground not being able to bear it anymore. He wanted to yell, scream his head off, shout his lungs out, curse or even cry out but nothing happened. He just knelt there with head bowed in despair. Everything became numb and without realizing it, his consciousness drifted away. It was only after Raph opened his eyes that he realized he was no longer in the room. With much difficulty, he managed to get up his feet and look around in confusion.

It took all her strength as she carefully maneuvered them through his body without causing any more damage until they finally they clinked to the floor. ‘Thank you’ The Tiger groaned spitting out the branch and drifting into a healing sleep but Tegan did not hear, freeing the huge animal had taken all her remaining strength and her exhausted body shut down to protect her. She sank against the tigers side her eyes snapping shut as she drifted into unconsciousness, her body snuggled into its luscious white fur. An hour or so later Raphael stirred and opened his eyes lifting his huge head he looked around him, the Hunters were gone and he frowned,

“...in visiting him in his hosue they got into another fight and then one of the kids ended up being killed, and guess what it was the one one who decided to take their rivalry a step further who got killed, the other kid panicked and called his two other friends that are brother in the middle of the night, and they helped him cover up a murder case by disposing off every evidence….. There was a large silence in the room and the only thing.that we could hear was I and Raph’s heartbeat to the roof. Raph clenched and unclenched his knuckles and suddenly he stood up pacing back and forth in the room. “We didn't mean to do it!”. Whatttt… No no he wasn't meant to lose his guard immediately.. Our

He soothingly added, giving me a side-hug and a peck on the head. I let out a long and tired sigh, lightly shaking my head in annoyance before averting my gaze back to the “atomic trio”, just in time to see Raph giving Raz a small signal, as in giving him permission to start whatever crazy supernatural shit he was about to do. Whatever it was, I knew it wasn’t going to be good. I could feel it in my bones. And through the bond as well. Well damn. I took in a vigorous breath of air, mentally preparing myself to stay strong no matter what.

So he turned to his next coping mechanism—working out. And that’s all he did. Day in and day out after searching endlessly and still didn’t find her. He always had hope though. Hope that she'll come home to him one day. And she did. A throat clearing a few feet away from them had them pulling apart, and Tami saw that it was only Raphael. For some reason he looked a bit annoyed, but Tami only noticed because she knew him so well. “Raph…” “Are you ready to go? I will take you to have something to eat,” he said, more like a ‘come we are leaving now’ rather than a question.

“I left a note, Nisi. It wasn’t a riddle. I told you I needed space. I told you I needed to breathe.” He stepped forward, nostrils flaring, and I saw the tension in his body tighten. Rapha appeared from the shadows near the window, his presence like a dark cloud settling over the room. He looked worse, more exhausted, his jaw so clenched I thought his teeth might shatter. His eyes were cold, almost black, and radiated a fury that made the air around him feel charged with unspoken threats.
