Rejected by My Alpha, Crowned by the Moon King
The darkness shattered.
The ancient thing screamed—a sound that echoed through the night, ancient and terrible and utterly defeated. Its form flickered, the shadows that had sustained it beginning to fail. The cracks that had once healed began to reappear on its form, splitting its shadowy skin like shattered porcelain. The darkness that had surrounded it shattered like glass, fragments of shadow scattering across the balcony.
The darkness shattered.
And I—
I stood.
I stood, and I was ready.
"Come, ancient one."
My voice echoed through the darkness.
