Completely ignoring the girl crying in the dirt. “Gunner, are you sure about this?” I asked still looking at Zoe. He pulled me around and into his arms. He crouched down to look into my eyes and cupped my face. “She tried to hurt you, she’s lucky I didn’t kill her” he kissed my lips and wrapped his arms around my shoulders bringing me into his chest. Someone clearing their throat behind me broke our hug. I turned to see Tobias back in human form, wearing only a pair of blue basketball shorts. His shorts hung low on his hips, revealing that sculpted arrow. His dark skin made his eight pack and hairless chest more defined.

That's why I couldn't stay long in the shower tonight. I would have cried myself to death. My heart feels so heavy and all that's been happening is such a burden on my shoulders. Crying in the shower won't make it any better. Infact, crying in the shower would make it worse because I don't know how to turn off the taps. So I step out of Seven's shower quickly. Tobias's POV By the time my tears stop and my eyes feel raw and gritty, the water has turned cold. I do not even know when that happened. My fingers are numb and I am shivering. I step out onto the bath mat, keeping my eyes firmly away from the mirror. I do not need to see what I look like right now. The towels on the heated rail are blessedly warm and I wrap myself in two of them. I walk back into my bedroom and sit heavily on the bed. I must zone out, because I have no idea how long I sit there before my phone buzzes beside me.

Feeling utterly miserable, I discard my purse and shoes at the door and trudge to my bedroom. I decide that a shower would feel nice. I shed my clothes and step into the bathroom. I turn on the shower and adjust the knob so that the water will be hot. Once the water temperature adjusts accordingly, I step into the shower. The water pounds around me and I begin to relax. The previous events play on a loop in my mind and I begin to cry. I had trusted Tyler in a way I had never trusted anyone else. I had even told him about my parents. Then he goes and kisses another she-wolf.

Steam fogged the glass chambers. Clara remained there longer than she had intended. She let the warm shower hit her body, her head tilted forward as the water soaked her hair, flowing down her skin. Her hands traced over her arms, washing away the last remnants of her makeup and inside her, she hoped it would wash away the pains, the shame. But before she knew it, the sob returned.
