Tobias Whale Quotes Novels & Stories

I've come to the conclusion I'm not the happiest drunk tonight . "I told you, you wouldn't like the answer." Tobias says quietly, sitting opposite me. He places a glass of water on the table and pushes it towards me. "Drink up." He instructs me and I roll my eyes dramatically. "You're so demanding." "It's the way I am, get over it." "I don't like it." I respond childishly. "Tough," he says back, his eyebrow raised high. I huff again and can't think of anything to respond with so in true Emily fashion, I do the only thing I can think of.

Bash frowned in confusion as Tobi continued, “the pride flag was once used to insult us, faggot was/is used to insult us but rather than cry our asses, we owned the insults, that's how I became this strong, I owned every insult thrown at me , you can do same.” “You mean I should accept that I am a whore but…I am not, “Bash argued but Tobi didn’t say anything. He only looked In his eyes wordlessly explaining things to him. “Say it.” “Say what?” Bash asked. “Say you are a whore.” “What?!” “Say it!” Tobi insisted. After much hesitation Bash said it, “I am a whore…” “Louder!” “I am a whore!” “I can’t hear you!” Tobi shouted.

I’ll get myself out of this mess. “I love to hear you say that,” he says. “I thought seeing Kara might make you see more clearly.” And it has. I see things perfectly clearly now. Tobias takes me back to his hut, seemingly triumphant over my reaction to Kara’s danger. “It’s going to be incredible,” he says. “We’re going to be incredible. “I won’t even put you back in the cage right now. Take a seat wherever you’d like. I prefer the bed myself, but that’s up to you, of course.”

Lucy tentatively asked, "I have a question. Did you attend your university graduation event?" Tobias thought about it for a while. "I think so." Lucy asked again, "Did you drink so much that you blacked out?" It had been a long time since graduation night. Tobias hardly remembered anything and said, "I don't remember." Lucy became angry. "D-Did you get drunk during and do something with a woman?" Tobias said, "Babe, what are you talking about? I can hold my liquor and have hollow legs. Plus, I will never do something nasty to another woman."

Bob Whale opened his mouth. There was anger in his tone. Obviously, if he had not been seriously injured, he would have attacked Dumb Fidas at this time. If he had not listened to Dumb Fidas's so-called "Perfect Plan", he would not have ended up like this. "Shut up!" Dumb Fidas glanced at him coldly. Being reprimanded in public, Bob Whale was about to lose his temper. However, when he saw Dumb Fidas's icy cold gaze sweeping across him, Bob Whale's heart suddenly jumped for no reason.

“Yeah. Lex feels more like my wolf again, not just a stranger I happen to share headspace with.” Tobias takes another slug of whiskey, his head falling back against the sofa cushions, and I notice the movement of his throat. I flop back as well, my body suddenly feeling hot again. I notice he’s got barbecue sauce on his face, right at the corner of his mouth, and my tongue tingles. I have a sudden image of licking it off his skin. Fuck. I crush the thought down hard and fast. “You’ve got a little sauce there, just…” I point to his face.

Recognizing her. Claiming her. Tobias’s voice dropped into a whisper filled with dread and awe. "It's responding to you as though you belong here."

But the image of the towering figure, the claws, the glowing eyes—it was burned into my mind. “Tobias,” I whispered, “do you believe in werewolves?” He froze. Slowly, he turned to me, his expression unreadable. Then he smiled faintly and reached out to mess up my hair. “You are still clueless with everything, Maive,” he murmured. The way he said it... it wasn’t a denial. It wasn’t even an answer. It was something else entirely. Confusion knotted in my chest. His words only left me more lost.

I asked, trying to start a conversation. He laughed, “it won’t. That was a humpback whale. It doesn’t purposely attack humans, Bobbie.” “H-how did you know?” My mind urged me to glance at the waters, observe how powerful it was, but I listened to Zach’s voice telling me about some incidents where that species of whales actually saved people’s lives. “You know a lot about them.”
