The toddler soon started to hack, cough, and retch in between her sobs. Tadashi and Naoko observed the scene with concern. Naoko's mind began whirling with possibilities. The scene looked somewhat familiar. Seeing how the adults looked completely calm, this should be the normal occurrence that they were talking about.

I cry, covering my face I curl up into Hanzo’s arms letting him comfort me, I can still see my mother’s face. “You’re ok, you’re safe,” Hanzo reassures recognizing I wasn’t all the way awake. “I couldn’t save here, I was too afraid I only killed the man in blind rage,” I sigh breathing deeply and crying into Hanzo’s arms, looking up I see his eyes are full of tears. ‘We’re ok, Tori it’s over, you did what you had to,’ Reika tries comforting me through our bond as I feel Hanzo’s worry. ‘It wasn’t enough though,’ I cry into my connection with Reika.

Tobias laughed and squeezed me a little tighter. “Why are you crying?” he asked, smoothing down my hair. “I don’t know, I’m just happy, they’re happy tears” I sniffled. He laughed again and rested his cheek on the top of my head. “Well, I’m glad”. After a few minutes I had calmed down again and the tears finally stopped flowing. Tobias now has a huge wet stain on his shirt, but he either hasn’t noticed or isn’t bothered by it. I sat up straight and wiped away the wetness from my cheeks and tried to calm my hair with my fingers.
