He was gone too soon, he left with too little memories.

Where was this, son?” He asked. “London Dad, I was with her in the city of London.” He replied. “London.” A small shudder went through Mr. Thompson’s body as he imagined his full of anger and bitterness son all alone in London city.

I closed my eyes as everything faded away and my world turned black. Moments later, I felt like I was floating and I smiled, relishing the feeling of ascending into heaven. Suddenly I was put down, but it was somewhere softer than the ground. So this is what going to heaven feels like. I heard a male voice speaking but I couldn't catch what he was saying. Is that God speaking to me? Am I in heaven already?

I awake the next morning feeling more refreshed than I have in a while. The day is bittersweet for more reasons than one. Today is the last day elder Everest will ever spend with his family and friends until we all join him on the other side. I believe in Heaven and know in my heart it is the same as the spirit world, the place where good souls go to spend eternity in peace with those they loved in this life. I know my parents have found each other and a place there and are at peace. I know Everest will soon be reunited with his mate Rain who passed several seasons before him, she waits for him, and he is ready to go join her. It’s those who he is leaving behind who are struggling to accept
