Tim was interested in the discussion and he chipped in, “Since this year's celebration is on Sunday, you can end it on Monday with your birthday.”
“Yes, Secretary. He is right,” the clerk pressed on.
“No, he is not right. Monday is the 17th, and my birthday is the 15th.”
“It doesn't matter,” the clerk argued and Tim was mute.
“It matters. How can I celebrate after the date?”
He allowed them to argue while he amused himself. One remarkable thing about her is that she was related to the clerk as though he was in her class.
When they could not reach a consensus, the clerk faced him and asked, “Sir, is she the first person to postpone a birthday celebration?”
