I have already started uploading chapters on it but I will give a sneak peak into the book for those who might be interested. LTHH is going to be a lot darker and include some of the characters from this story. It starts off nine years from the time the last "Aftermath" chapter takes place. He had a tendency to waste time while washing his hands and brushing his teeth. Sara knocked on his door a quarter after seven. She slipped inside and sat down on his bed. His room was filled with bugs—plastic bugs, thankfully—of all sorts: grasshoppers, butterflies, beetles, ants, and a few arachnids thrown in for good measure. His sheets were dinosaurs, and although Sara had offered to get him new bug sheets, James had declined. He’d probably use these dinosaur sheets until he was leaving for college, she thought with a smile.

My vision turns red, as a wide toothy grin splays on my face. "I never once claimed I was not a monster, and I have absolutely nothing to prove to you and your kind." Each word comes out deadlier than the last. Everyone can go ahead and think I am a monster I do not care. My fingernails begin to turn to claws, as my teeth grow to large fangs. I dig my claws deep into his neck and face, puncturing the tender flesh. Blood rolls down in beads. I watch Mr. Blanc gasping in pain.

a girl shrieked, seeming as if she were happy, which I clearly knew she was not. “And here I thought the faggot was mute, only to realize he isn't. Wow, what other surprises do you have in store for us?” the all-time bully, Mike, asked sarcastically while loudly tapping away on his table. Students laughed at his remark, but Shirley behind me seemed to be 'blushing' in anger. I scoffed as quietly as I could. 'Oh, only if you knew,' I said to myself, not daring to say it aloud. No one in school, except Shirley, had seen my bare face. I was always wearing hoodies that covered me properly.

Once that loud howl came from him, we all prepared ourselves as the wolves charged at us altogether. All we could do was fight to our hearts desire. The creature lunged. Chaos erupted. Elior’s blade met shadow, sparks flying as the creature absorbed the blow. Bram swung his axe, but it passed through as if cutting through mist. Myrra’s daggers struck true, yet the wounds sealed as quickly as they formed. Then its gaze locked onto Rael. A surge of heat exploded through him as the book’s pages flared to life, the ink twisting, forming words that burned into his vision: SPEAK AND CLAIM. Rael’s voice shook as he forced the words past his lips. “The Hollow Throne does not grant power. It takes.”

The tugging sensation begins again, growing more and more intense as I continue to hold on, as the feeling intensifies I close my eyes and let it take me where it will. Splat! I make the mistake of gasping for breath and the taste of both mud and excrement fill my mouth. Spitting, I stand up noticing in the journey that I have dropped the pendant. Taking a look around, I wonder if this is where the heir has been hidden all this time. Reaching down I pick up the pendant and wipe it off on my cloak. I barely have time to do this before the sensation of tugging once more overwhelms me and the world blurs away. *************************************************************************************

Wednesday morning arrived clear and cold. The kind of cold that felt decisive rather than unpleasant was the island's version of an exhale, the air stripped of everything that wasn't necessary. Nora was at the Vault's third-floor table by seven-fifty with the manuscript open and the completed notebook pages organized in order, and she was reading the third section's translation when Caspian came through the door at eight o'clock exactly with two cups of coffee and the unhurried quality of someone who had been awake for a while and had organized himself for this specific morning.
