It was supposed to look abandoned to keep curious humans away but that never works, so the entire school is under a cloaking spell of some kind. I let out a defeated sigh and make sure my hoodie is pulled over my face, before trudging along the walkway into the academy. As I enter, my eyes catch sight of white and black feathers. Tears fill my eyes and my hand flies over my mouth to stifle a sob. Julie quickly rushes to comfort me. She puts her arms around me, careful to not touch my back. She shushes me quietly, and I try to stop the tears from escaping. "It's alright Luciana, everything will be fine—they’re just like you," she says in my ear. "No they're not, they have wings."

His head kind of reminded me of a mushroom growing in every wrong way possible. I pointed at the fiery guy. "Who is this sassy jackass?" The guy's eye twitched with annoyance. "I beg your pardon." Hanako spoke up"This'sassy brat' you say is Takeo Tachibana. "You didn't need to agree with him on the sassy part!" Takeo said. Hanako ignored him and continued, "And the one next to him is the super genius in this class, no, the entire school itself, Izumi Harutora."

Professor Shaw commented. They helped Miranda to set up her presentation. She’d only done a few slides, as she didn’t want to just read off them. As a former student, she knew from experience how boring that was. As Prosser Hammond showed her how the microphone worked. Students began to trickle in. Josh had already taken a seat at the front, and she could not help but notice that he was joined by a couple of guys and a girl. One of the boys in a dark hoodie whispered something to him and Josh hit him on the arm. Miranda wondered what he’d said to prompt that response.

A familiar a feminine voice apologised. Isabella looked up to find that it was Amanda. Amanda was one of their fellow classmate whom Laura liked to call weird just like everyone else in the class and Marrisa like to scold Laura for doing so. She was indeed a little weird. She usually stayed away from people sat alone on a bench and never tried to strike up communication or friend relations with anyone. There were times when she missed classes too and those times happened a lot. When Lauren and Marissa saw Isabella communicating with Amanda for the first time Laura was shocked and annoyed, Marissa on the other hand was confused.

She joined him when she was done and sat across from him. “So” She started. “So?” “Don't you have anything to say?” She asked, a little surprised. “Ok fine. Hi, my name's Takumi Rengoku and I'm 16 years old. Nice to meet you.” She looked at him with a tilted head and raised an eyebrow. “This is the part where you also introduce yourself.” She couldn't stop herself from snorting. “What?” “I wasn't expecting that response. I'm Twilight Sakata and no, my parents weren't wasted when they named me. They just really loved My Little Pony.” She paused for a moment. “Actually, now that I’ve said that out loud, I think they were.”

He went and sat on the teacher’s chair so I guess he was our teacher. But the weird thing was that he laid his head down on the table and in no time was sleeping. “This situation is pretty awkward”. Then I saw one of the students moving towards the teacher’s chair. She slightly shook him and said,” Umm …. Sir. Were you not supposed to give us some instructions or maybe teach us something?” The teacher yawned and pointed towards her chair hinting her to go back. She went back and sat on her chair then the teacher introduced himself. He said tiredly, “My name is Tsubaki Rei and (he yawned) I’m your ability control teacher. I can see that most of the students are missing which means Miss Harmon

Even Ethan sat up straighter. The academy was... impossible. That was the only word for it. It rose from the earth like it had been grown rather than built, all spiraling towers and organic curves. The main structure seemed to be carved from a single massive piece of black stone that gleamed red in the setting sun. Hence the name, I supposed. Windows glowed with warm light, and I could see figures moving within—students, maybe, or faculty. The grounds stretched for what seemed like miles, encompassing forests, lakes, and what appeared to be several smaller buildings connected by covered walkways.

Sitting with two Lunas, he was strangely confident, keeping eye contact with Taiga across him. "So... Maya how’s school and practice? I heard your team won last year’s Winter Cup. I've also heard about your recent wins. Shirakiba Wolves is indeed a strong team, if I do say so myself," Tatsuya says, desperately trying to keep the peace. He wasn't looking at Taiga. If he was going to get to the bottom of this, he had to ignore Taiga's glares and tantrums. "You heard right. We are still a growing team at the end of the day, and our ACE is a really strong player," he says, briefly making eye contact with Taiga and continuing the conversation.
