I consoled the brat. She rolled her eyes and walked away from me. I followed her with my eyes and saw that Luka, Ambrosio, and Fabbri were on their way towards me and Natya. The three of them stopped to console the spoiled Natya. I glanced at the sleeping girl. Her red, wavy, and mid-length hair scattered on her face. Unconsciously, my hands extended out to touch her face to fix the loose strands of her hair. As my fingers were about to touch her face, a picture of a small girl flashed through my mind that made me fall into my knees.

Great I was suspicious when I noticed the light in the living room. I took out my gun and slowly walked in. I relaxed when I saw Daphnie sleeping on the couch, leaning against the armrest. She must have been waiting for me; I couldn't imagine how worried she must have been. Vader barked, causing Daphnie to wake. She looked relieved to see me, but concern took over her face. I looked down and noticed there were bloodstains on my chest.

Controlling. “The one that ends with you understanding there’s no safe word for this,” he said. “No walking away. No pretending it didn’t happen. Once I touch you—really touch you—you don’t get to go back to being the spoiled little girl who thinks she can tease and run.” Her thighs pressed together instinctively. She was wet—achingly so—and she knew he could probably smell it. “Then touch me,” she said, her voice trembling just enough to betray her. “Or tell me to leave.”

Inside there are black candles, several scrolls, and a thick pitch-black book. Of course, it is the book that gets my attention. I took it and inspected it if there are dents, torn pages, or mites. Fortunately, although the book looks old, it also looks new, feels new, and smells new. It has gold writings on it, Death of God. "Death of God?! How did this get to here? I am sure if Mama saw you, she's gonna burn you," I said laughing at my own jokes. See, I am not just unlucky, I am also corny and crazy.

The mixture of lust, hunger for energy, and pleasure derived from his suffering made Nadir unable to think rationally. When he came back from the bathroom and lied down on the bed, she crept noiselessly, completely giving up on invisibility. Nadir wanted him to see her now, to want her, to feel his warm breath and touch against her skin. Her breath came out raspy, it was beginning to become hard to breathe, and she wasn't sure why. Well, she knew why? His being this near her affected her in ways she couldn't explain, worst this time around than ever before.

I seemed to want to stay here in the darkness that protects me with all its warmth and safety. As I sniffed the air, I felt a familiar scent—the smell of fresh grass, the fragrance of flowers in the distance, and the gentle breeze. Everything felt so close, even in the darkness that enveloped me. "You must remain rational about everything. Sebastian," the soft voice said again, breaking through into my mind like sunlight through dark clouds. Yet, somehow, I still felt glued to this darkness, like I was bound by something invisible, even though the voices were trying to lead me out.
