Silent Howls
He rested his chin gently on my hair, his breath easing out in relief.
“I am glad you understand me, Liora.”
He whispered, his hand gliding gently down my back.
“Thanks for trusting me!”
I stayed pressed against him, breathing in his raw, masculine scent. It filled me so completely that emotions clogged my throat. I wanted to tell him how much I loved him, how deeply his patience had touched me.
But… I couldn’t!
I hated that I couldn’t. My voice was the only thing I wished for at that very moment. The feelings inside me were too big, too fierce, but the silence was all I had.
