I feel safe being alone here because I know there are two guards outside the library. If only I could do something to help Damon. If only I had the ability to recognize who betrayed Damon. I put down the book I was reading on the table and looked at the high shelves in the library and suddenly the book I saw before came to my mind. That book was written by Alpha Devon and there is a faint suspicion that there is a torn page in that book. I know it's not unusual for a book to be torn because it's natural for a book, to tear and get old...but that book was strange. The book is old, but you will know that every paper used is durable. It can't just be torn because of its old age.

My eyes misted up as I touched the tattoos on his athletic chest. His touch grew slower, almost cautious. His lips moved gently along my neck, sending me a warm rush. Each peck from him was so intense, making my breathing heavier, clearly audible in our quiet room, accompanied only by the sound of my racing heart. My hands moved uncontrollably, exploring the surface of his hard, muscular chest. My fingers traced the contours of the tattoos etched into his skin. The tattoo was so familiar to me that I could touch it without even opening my eyes.

Then he unlocked my chains. I wasted no time in moving. Someone was waiting for me with a fresh towel and new stuff for me to wash up. "Waste no time!" was the order. It was an opportunity which came once in a while so I made sure that I scrubbed myself until I was almost pink. Then the banging on the door came. "Finish up, Luca! Don't let me come in there and drag you out."

He asked, his voice deeper than natural. His right hand unfisted, gracing her bare skin as it reached her neck, and with his thumb, he rubbed the mark on her neck. Electricity erupted through her body; that's all it took to make her forget what she had intended to confront him about. His touch was cold and refreshing on her hot skin, like a cold glass of water after being in the Sahara desert for a year. 'Was it hot in here?' Her breath came out raspy, it was beginning to become hard to breathe, and she wasn't sure why. Well, she knew why? His being this near her affected her in ways she couldn't explain, worst this time around than ever before.

He smirks, tracing his thumb along my lips. I shudder when his smooth palm makes contact with my thigh, sliding up. "W….what are you doing?" My lips tremble as the question slips out. The way my skin burns at his touch is strange and the burning sensation that feels within me causes more confusion. Why am I vulnerable to his touch? "I can smell the rejection all over you." He sniffs as he kisses my nape and a moan leaves my mouth before I can control it. The heat intensifies and my wolf's thuds are relentless.
