Lonely Dove

Lonely Dove

constantly, if only as a change from worrying about drowning. Jasper’s obsession with drowning had begun to oppress them all. He had talked so much about it that Newt had come to feel it would be almost a miracle if someone didn’t drown at every river. “Well, if we see one of them bears, Pea can stick him with that knife he keeps sharpening,” Bert Borum said. “It ought to be sharp enough to kill a dern elephant by now.” Pea took the criticism lightly. “It never hurts to be ready,” he said, quoting an old saying of the Captain’s. Call himself spent the day on the mare, weeding out the weaker stock, both cattle and horses. He worked with Deets. About noon, they were resting under a big mesqui

Jasper: The Beginning (Book 1)

“I’ll never grow tired of the wonder of magic.” Although his bones were already beginning to mend from the breaks that occurred when he smashed into the wall, Jasper had no desire to move. Instead, he rested his head on Lila’s shoulder while to two sat in silence, each deep in their own thoughts.

The Omega Queen

The Omega Queen

After the fire, water was a balm. But there was something else, too. There was a heaviness. It was not in the air, and not in the earth. It was inside me. With every step, my eyelids grew heavier. My legs dragged. I caught myself stumbling once, and Jasmine pressed her body into my knees to steady me. I knew then that the spirit of this mountain was already reaching for me. When the path leveled out, I stopped and pressed my palm against Jasmine’s head. Her fur was warm, alive and steady.

she rasped. Liora’s tears hit the dirt. “I know.” Ashen tried to smile. “Too late now.” Suddenly the ground around them opened not into cracks or fire, but into narratives, Half-told stories flooded out like rivers: A soldier who never returned from war, finally finding peace, A wolf spirit who had loved a human girl but never said the words.

THE SUBSTITUTE MATE FOR THE ALPHA KING

THE SUBSTITUTE MATE FOR THE ALPHA KING

“We have lost everything. Her father… I had to leave him… to die. We are all that’s left. We seek only sanctuary.” I raised my head, tears streaming freely down my face, meeting the bear’s ancient, knowing gaze. “We beg for passage. Not for us, but for her. Please.” The bear froze. Its charge halted before it began. It stared at me, its black nose twitching again. The low growl subsided into a curious, huffing sound. It took a slow, deliberate step forward, then another, until I could feel its hot, pungent breath on my face. I closed my eyes, waiting for the blow.

Living With My Lady Boss

Living With My Lady Boss

A figure pounced on the bear, his fists ablaze with brilliantly colored spiritual flames as a terrifying aura rolled off him in waves. The figure raised a fist, casting a blow toward the bear's head. Everyone stared at the godlike man in the air in a daze. His courage was truly mind-blowing. The bear let out a howl at the sight of an attacker, its paws lighting up with spiritual flames as it swiped at the man. Yet the man turned around at an impossible angle, ducking out of the bear's grip perfectly before landing the blow on its head. A deafening sound rang through the air as the bear let out a howl of agony, falling from the air and crashing onto the ground.

Bound by the Alphas

“Is everything okay? You guys looked really shocked.” “It’s not often we see someone shift into two different animals,” Zach muttered. I snapped a look at him and then at the others. “Two different animals?” I repeated, even in my head, my voice sounded strained. “Yeah, babe,” Xaden said, brushing his wolf’s body against mine. “You shifted into a gorgeous white wolf.” “And then you shifted into the most beautiful black bear I had ever seen,” Harley breathed. “I have two spirit animals?” I asked, staring down at my very bear-like body. “How is that possible?”

The Unwanted Sister's Alpha King

The Unwanted Sister's Alpha King

In sleep, she looked so innocent, unburdened by the responsibilities that weighed on us both. Silently, I crossed the room to where my travel bag lay. Digging through its contents, I pulled out a book I had brought with me from the city. The leather cover was worn, its pages yellowed with age—a relic, much like the secrets it contained. Settling back into bed, I opened the book, eager to lose myself in its ancient wisdom. The familiar scent of parchment and ink-filled my nostrils as I started to read. This book, unlike any other, held unparalleled information about the spirit wolf and its significance. My eyes glided over the pages, absorbing each word with a ravenous hunger.

I'm glad i stuck it out. yes, the book is long, and at times, it does drag on, but what the author did, they did justice to the story itself. unlike most books, the endings are always a letdown. this author knew how to conclude it. continued in comments

It is a long book but I didn’t feel like it dragged out because it was so full of details and the author made sure to tie up any loose ends so it didn’t leave you wondering. Will definitely be sticking around for the fantasy version of it.

The Luna's Rebirth (Awakening of the betrayed Omega)

The Luna's Rebirth (Awakening of the betrayed Omega)

Instead, he padded towards me with his typical slow and deliberate movements. As it drew closer, I saw that the bear was holding something in its maw. It dropped the object at my feet and I saw that it was a small, leather-bound book. The bear looked upwards at me, its eyes seeming to bore into my soul. And then, in a motion so almost human, it nodded its head. I stared at it in amazement, really not sure what my next move was. But then I looked down at the book, and with an eruption of clarity inside of me, this feeling suddenly made much sense.
