"You've got a nice custom." Blaze blurted out before he could help himself. It wasn't the time to make jokes, but he couldn't help but admit it.

Blade came out with his usual all black clothing—a big black sweatshirt, a black baggy jean, black glasses, black face cap, black sneakers— and a revolver carefully tucked by his side. To my shock, the passenger door opened and a girl came out. She was obviously young, probably fourteen or fifteen with red hair and a round hazel eyes which peered at me through the glass of the coffee shop. I couldn’t help but wonder who she was and why Blade had decided to bring her along. They both shared words before walking towards the coffee shop. “Emily!” Blade called as he walked inside with his companion right behind him. “I’m right here,” I said waving my hands in the air to draw his attention.

Blitz chuckled and addressed Keagan, seemingly amused by his skepticism. "You must be the Spectral Guardian, huh? Quite the peculiar name," he remarked, swiftly taking the can from Keagan's hand and popping open the lid. Blazewing lifted his chin proudly. "Please. A plane's nothing. I'm a phoenix." For the first time, I really looked at him. He had such a pure, innocent face, like a boy still figuring out the world. He was totally different from Snowviper, whose dark eyes always brimmed with malice.

He scowled and pressed the remote. Electricity of greater intensity than before surged from the chair through her body, and a large scream ripped out of her throat. Her body writhed, and black streams of smoke wafted off her. The chair shattered, and she rose into the air. “What are you waiting for? Stop her!” Demeter yelled at Blaze, and large, birdlike, orange wings sprouted out of his back. He launched into the air, swinging his sword at her. *Boom* An explosion came from her again, sending him back to the ground. A sickening crack of bones echoed through the room, and he howled in pain.

Boom! Boom! Two loud noises came. Following the screaming and crying of the people in the carriage, the roof was once again broken. Two Golden Icebreaker Cranes shrieked and poked their heads in. With just a simple swing, the sharp crane's bill easily cut off the arm of a warrior who tried to fight them. "The Phoenix Wing's Starry Night Slash!" Maya shouted as she slashed at the crane with her longsword. Clank! The Golden Icebreaker Crane let out a miserable wail. Its bill was cut in half and flew out. The remaining Golden Icebreaker Crane was pierced through the head by Caspian's spear. It flopped twice and was immediately brought away by the blizzard.
