Brighter still. Until it shone like the rising sun. Varkor's ears twitched. The smile disappeared from the Primordial Darkness's face. The golden light stepped forward.

The shadows surged toward them with an intensity they had never faced before. Tendrils lashed out from the Nexus Core, writhing like living entities, their dark energy pulsating with the force’s malevolence. The ground beneath their feet trembled as if the peaks themselves were reacting to the clash of energies. Emma held the key tightly, its light flaring in defiance of the encroaching darkness. “Hold your ground!” she shouted, her voice cutting through the chaos.
