Everything in the house was being managed by machines. H4 and H5 spoke next, also in perfect unison. “We are combat robots responsible for security.” She turned back toward H1 with curiosity in her eyes. “What do you know about me?” she asked. A dozen ten-foot-tall robotic sentinels marched out from the shadows, their gatling guns spinning up. "Cute toys," Cyberpunk Vespera scoffed. She didn't shoot. She simply raised her hand and twitched her fingers. BZZZ-CRACK. The robots froze. Their eyes turned from red to blue. "Override command: Dance Mode," Cyberpunk Vespera ordered.

With a grunt of exertion, he ripped a metal panel from the bot's side, exposing its vulnerable circuitry. A shower of sparks erupted as the bot sputtered and whirred, its red eyes flickering erratically. Then, with a final metallic groan, it slumped to the ground, deactivated. Kai stumbled back, gasping for breath. His face was pale, beads of sweat clinging to his forehead. "You're crazy!" Maya exclaimed, relief warring with anger. "You could have been killed!" Kai ignored her, his eyes already scanning the area beyond the fallen bot. "We need to hurry. It won't be long before another patrol comes."
