Transformers Shattered Glass Au Novels & Stories

The same way morning sunlight streamed in through the trees, all broken and golden and almost pretty enough to hide the sharp edges underneath. Almost. “Where is he?” I asked. Marcus said, “At the packhouse. He moved back in once things got bad enough for the medics to need him close.” A pause. “He stopped shifting six weeks ago. His wolf can’t keep up with it anymore.” Those words landed heavy. I knew what it meant up close—bond deterioration so advanced that the wolf side starts slipping away. First shifting hurts. Then it’s nearly impossible. Then it’s gone entirely. There’s nothing fair about it.

Something inside me tears open. Glass rains around me as my claws burst through my elbows and shoulders, a new transformation. The pain should have dropped me dead, but instead, it burned through me like rocket fuel. “Help!” I yell, harsh and deep in pain. The window shatters outward, sending sparkling glass flying out. Lysander smiles in amusement. “There's my girl. It's time to take you home.”

she askes me as she closes her book. “It really was. This glass” I say tapping it with my knuckles “Is shatter proof. When she first came here she was just starting to come into her abilities and lets just say I had to replace almost all the glass in the house after she had an episode and shattered it” a smile tugs on my lips when I think back to that day and how vulnerable she was.

“That’s impossible.” His eyes locked on hers, unreadable, but sharp enough to cut. “Then someone wants me to believe otherwise.” And with that, the glass between them shattered not in a burst, but in a slow, deadly crack that promised the next chapter would draw blood. .

I mutter. The mirror pulses a violent red. The heating elements are failing, the glass spider-webbing under the thermal stress. C-O-M-P-R-O-M-I-S-E-D. One final sentence scrolls across the bottom before the glass shatters into a thousand glittery shards. O-N-E G-U-A-R-D I-S N-O-T H-I-S. I drop to a crouch as the glass rains down. I don't feel the shallow cuts on my shoulders. I'm staring at the empty frame.

—began to reclaim its own autonomy. With a deafening roar that sounded like a tectonic plate snapping in half, the sapphire rift shattered. Thousands of ancient wolves and humans spilled out onto the floor in a cascade of meltwater and silver light. They gasped—a sound of five thousand pairs of lungs taking their first breath in a millennium, a collective "whoop" of oxygen that filled the cavern like a hurricane. The Glass Guardian, deprived of its stolen kinetic energy, simply dissolved into a pile of harmless, slushy ice.

Standing up I move to help Alex. Shattered glass was everywhere.Avoiding the glasses I went near the broken chandelier. I carefully pushed the body of the chandelier to a side but a glass piece stabbed into my skin. I retreat my hand with a jerk. Blood started flowing. Pulling the glass piece I threw it away , the wound began to heal quickly. By now Alex pushed her body away from the chandelier. There were glasses everywhere.I bent on my knees and tried to pull the big glass piece that passed through the flesh of her leg from one side to the other. I stood up and looked around.

This cheap asshole trying to use a weapon on me. He raised his eyebrows sensing my position to defend then walked to a sheet of glass. He gave me a little smirk then smashed the bat right throw the center. I was intrigued watching how this perfect piece of glass just shattered from one hit. Little shards of glass spraying in a huge circle leaving nothing left of what was there before. That was exactly how I felt right now. My fate was the fucking bat and my soul that thin piece of glass that shattered so easily.

The reinforced glass erupted into a massive web of fractures. Countless razor-sharp shards blasted outward. The skin across Alexander's knuckles split open instantly. Flesh peeled back. Dark-gold blood streamed down the shattered surface. He didn't even flinch. Not once. The overwhelming physical force severed the AI's neural infiltration network on the spot. Silence swallowed the ruins. The red lights inside the control systems died completely. Alexander tore off his heavy tactical coat. The ruined shirt still hung from his muscular torso. Then he turned. Crossed the distance in long strides.

"And looking at you, Lucas, you’ll be joining her in the poorhouse soon enough. It’s your choice. The crown... or the girl?" Lucas stared at me, trembling. He looked at my cold blue eyes, realizing there was no mercy left in me. He opened his mouth to speak, to beg, to bargain. CRASH!! The sound was deafening. The floor-to-ceiling glass window behind my desk, a reinforced, bulletproof glass, didn't just break. It exploded inward. Shards of glass rained down like jagged hail. The force of the blast threw Lucas across the room, slamming him into the far wall.
