Transformers Shattered Glass Au Novels & Stories

The revelation left me feeling stupid and betrayed, my trust shattered. Gabriel, with a burst of strength, threw the lycan out through the shattered window, the glass shattering further upon impact. As he turned to face me, his eyes fully transformed into the piercing color of lycan's eyes, I was left speechless. The intensity in his gaze held a mix of protectiveness and something else, something I couldn't quite decipher. Without uttering a sound, Gabriel leaped out through the broken window. I stood there, stunned and overwhelmed, my mind spinning with questions and emotions. The world around me had changed, and I was left grappling with a reality I never could have imagined.

The glass didn't just break; it detonated. The explosion of noise was deafening. Shards of enchanted silica sprayed across the room, cutting through the shadows like shrapnel. Kael felt the world tilt. He tumbled forward, his body slamming onto the cold stone floor, but he couldn't feel the impact. His legs remained behind him, stiff and heavy, as if he were dragging dead weight. He looked down. His own hands were changing. The skin was gone, replaced by a jagged, shimmering crust of black, glass-like plates. He looked like a creature forged from the debris of a ruined star.

The heavy glass fragments tore deep into my back and arms, hot blood soaking instantly through my tunic, but I didn't flinch, tightening my grip around her trembling form and burying my face against her neck to keep her entirely out of harm's way. The sound of shattering crystal was deafening, a relentless barrage that battered our position like a localized hailstorm of diamond-hard steel. Across the vast hall, our elite vanguard and surviving warriors reacted with instantaneous, battle-hardened reflexes. Shielding themselves with their heavy iron plates, as the deafening clanging of glass against metal echoes through the ruined throne room.

The glow between his scales fades. I collapse to my knees, broken, my body steaming, every breath scraping like glass. But we did it. The dome shatters above us, collapsing like falling glass. Through the haze, dark figures swoop down from the sky—black-clad, blades flashing as they tear into the High Ranks with inhuman precision. Shapeshifters. One of them lands near me. His mouth moves, his voice urgent, but the words blur. I answer somehow, though it isn’t me speaking.

He dared to lay his hands on Mila, and my mind trailed back to the scars I saw while bathing her. My grip tightened around the glass until it shattered in my hand—again. This was the second glass shattering. “Why can't these f*cking glass companies get it right?" I muttered beneath my breath. I would probably buy out the company as well. I reached for the almost-empty bottle to have another gulp, but my hand stopped midway when the door flung open. “Zaden, are you okay?” Her Vanilla scent instantly invaded the room. “I heard glass shattering,” she spoke, forcing her sleepy eyes open.

The second my hand touched the vehicle— every window on the level shattered outward. Jade screamed. Glass exploded across the garage in a deafening wave. Tristan pulled me backward instantly as fragments rained through the air around us like glittering knives. The reflections vanished. All of them. Gone. Only darkness remained in the ruined glass. Silence crashed down afterward. Heavy. Absolute. My breathing sounded too loud. Dom slowly lowered the blade he’d drawn sometime during the chaos. Jade stared around the destroyed garage in complete disbelief.

The question lingered in my mind: where did he even find the resources to throw such extravagant gatherings? Heading to the kitchen, I poured myself a glass of water, mustering the courage to confront Edward. Returning to the room, I hurled the water at him, breaking the glass as it shattered on the floor. "What the hell!" he exclaimed, his gaze locking onto me. "Are you sober now?" I demanded, discarding the glass with a resonating crash. The women looked at me in shock, their expressions betraying a mix of fear and disbelief. Perhaps I was on the brink of insanity dealing with this fool.

“They were supposed to wait.” “Wait for what?” she gasped. “For leverage,” he said flatly. “Not chaos.” Sirens wailed behind them. The city blurred past the windows, people oblivious to the war tearing through a black car in their midst. Isabelle’s breath came in sharp, panicked pulls. Her chest felt too tight, her vision narrowing. Dante cupped her face suddenly, forcing her to look at him. “Breathe,” he ordered. “With me.” She shook her head. “I can’t”

"What? Do you think I'm making this up to scare you?" The warm light from above cast a slanted shadow on the edge of the table. He stared at me, and for once, didn't rush to deny anything. "You broke up with me…because of this?" I almost laughed. "Does it even matter now? Even if I were healthy, I never would have lasted long enough for you to finally turn around and look at me. I overheard your friends talking. Apparently, I wasn't even someone you'd be willing to settle for. I used to think we'd actually make it to the end."

“You will get used to this... and to me.” Before we sit, he holds my face in his hands, his thumbs stroking along my jaw. “Before we settle in and watch something, let’s talk about taking things slow. I’ll try, but I’m going to be honest with you. One thing you’ll learn about me is that I’m transparent. I’m honest. I don’t play games. I’ve told you this before. And I’ll try not to scare you away... but when a man knows what he wants, he’s relentless.” His gaze deepens, silver locking onto mine. “I want you. And you’re not going anywhere.”
