This is the second season of Marco and Letta's story, titled "Trapped: I Can't Escape from the Billionaire." But hearing it in her own ears didn’t make it bearable. Isabella wanted to talk things out, but it looked like she wasn’t needed there. They have already assumed she is the culprit and nothing is going to change it. She entered Leo’s room and sat on the bed. The room was so familiar, but it can never feel secure. It was a golden cage that was making her feel suffocating and there was a feeling she was getting after marrying Leo; she get trapped by this billionaire. The entire day, she couldn’t keep her mind sane.

Wanda said before she actually left. "Yes, ma'am. Thank you very much!" The door closed. Nisa heard and turned around when it sounded like the door was automatically locked. Nisa tried to open it, but couldn't. "I see, it's really on automatic lock," Nisa panicked a little and felt that something was wrong with the room. Then she turned around and Bug! As Nisa turned around she bumped into someone's body, Nisa pulled back her face and looked at the person she had bumped into.

“It’s hidden under snow. A lot of people have fallen in, believing it's solid ground.” I squinted, imagining a big hole under the snow that could take us in. My heart beat faster as I thought of wolves and people trapped with no way out. Just talking about the hole made everything feel urgent. “Really?” I said, surprised. “Is that everything?” “No,” Derek said, a slight smile on his face. “The next one is very sneaky. It’s a trap hidden well among the trees. When someone gets caught, it’s not just hard to escape it’s meant to stop them. They can’t get free unless someone strong helps pull them out.”

"The Queen already knows everything." Ice flooded my veins, colder than any winter storm. It had been a trap. All of it. The mysterious message. The sleeping guard. The unlocked path to the garden. A trap, and I had foolishly walked right into it.

With everything I knew now, I realized that her intention, when she helped me escape, was never to help me. The moment she bolted, I went after her without thinking. We hit the ground hard, and her claws were already out. I cried out as she scratched me clear across my chest, before escaping my grip. Daniel was beside me in the blink of an eye, and no matter how hard I tried, I could feel myself disappearing. I FELT MY hair move, and when I turned around Daniel was sniffing it. I couldn’t believe I was back there again! Bastet was standing in the middle of the ice rink smiling, but I didn’t think it that it was funny.

“If you don't answer, I'm not letting you go.” Eliana glared at me when she realized her struggles were futile. “I didn't.” “You're a bad liar.” “You're holding me against my will!” She countered. “Fine.” I sighed. “I'll let you go.” She seemed relieved at my words and even more so when I removed my hands and allowed her to stand up from my lap. However, before she could take any step forward, I placed both of my hands on the kitchen aisle, locking her in between them.

“Then let me out. Let me go back to them, you’ve got what you wanted.” He chuckled, leaning against the wall of my cell, his long limbs forming strange, unnatural angles. “That’s not how this works. Our hatch is shut now. The Freeze is here, nothing anyone can do now. We only just finished unloading when spears of ice started launching at us.” I’d heard the javelins of ice, compacted together by the wind on their way down but never seen them. My cautious parents will have definitely locked down. “Has she been any trouble?” nudging my guard who simply shook his head.

From that gap spills breathless cold, sharp and sudden against the skin. A long time passed, yet that moment stays sharp - just one sentence from an old book returns it all. Back then, young Beatrice Sandoval almost didn’t make it out of the submerged room beneath her family’s icehouse. Water filled the space, fear took hold, never really left after that. Not leaving. Just somewhere out of sight. Somewhere she may pause before stepping in. I duck inside.
