With the darkness still clinging to him like a warm blanket, Travis drifted off to a dreary wonderland.
Time, how much did it pass? A lot and still, Travis’s head remained buried in the abyss of the dreary Wonderland. Only this time, his ears did pick up the faint sounds from reality. Feet passing by the doorway of his bedroom door, voices, hushed, whispering as they passed by his bedroom door, and the sound of knocks on his door, but his name was never called.
Again, just when he was about to dive his head back into the waves of darkness, a soft tap on the door, not that of demand but one of hesitation, slowly husked him back out of the dreary Wonderland.
