Traps Book Novels & Stories

I didn’t even attempt to run away because I had no intention of doing that. “Do you know what traps are here?” Samael suddenly asked me. “No, and I’m not interested in knowing that,” I replied. He ignored what I said and told me, “There’s a mine trap here where when you step on it, it will explode.” “That naughty guy that Claeg and I used to deliver to Live Suicide suddenly ran away and ignored our warnings that there were traps here, and then boom! He exploded! The blood and flesh inside him spat out badly and you will think it was raining blood in the sky, hahaha!” he said as he laughed at the narration.

Time was warping around them and something was coming. “Megan, I think I found it. Well, part of it.” Said, Thomas, as he placed the green tattered book in front of her. Megan looked at the book, she saw a picture of a metal pole with what looked like a collar with spikes that looked sharp. “Is this a witch catcher? How is this going to help Thomas?” “David had given me something that told me how to finally catch her and, on the paper, it said to “trap with something old” and this my dear is old.” Explained Thomas.

I walk into the house and lean on the kitchen counter. Kyra shuts the door and comes to stand in front of me. I run my hand over my face as I try to arrange my thoughts of today. "What?" I question if I heard her right. "A book was written by the creator?" I repeat in shock. "The book contains a spell to trap a god in his or her respective realm for all of eternity." The door bursts open getting our attention and our heads snap up.

Title- Trapped Alora walked into the cathedral shaped library with cautious steps. Was Rebecca aware of her presence? 'No,' She shook her head; that wasn't possible. The library was dark, and some ominous. Surprisingly though, the floor was clean. Alora bent down and sniffed the ground trying to figure out something. What? She wasn't sure. But then, where was Rebecca? She hid behind one of the shelves when she heard footsteps, her breath was stilled. With narrowed eyes, she watched as Rebecca came out from a trap door behind the ornate wall. Why was there a trap door in the Royal library? It seemed suspicious.... Alora continued watching; she was sure there were great secrets to be uncovered.

There definitely must be some inferior motive. Maybe it's just me, but like I said before, I'm having a hard time believing in people nowadays. No matter how I see it, I can't let myself believe he is doing all this out of humanity. Why would he take the risk to free me when he could get him in trouble? At the end of the day, he is involved in illegal stuff and I can easily go to the police and report their names. A part of me still believes that they are trying to trap me and this is all a scheme. Like I have seen in so many movies where shit like this happens and, in the end, it just happens to be a trap.

“What stuff could you possibly still have here? I threw out your clothes years ago. Dan said your books were taking up space, so he sold them. Oh, and those houseplants you kept? They all died.” She paused, then added, “I stopped watering them on purpose.” I turned and pressed the elevator button. Her voice followed me from behind. “Stella, don’t make this uglier than it has to be. You have nothing now. You can’t beat me.” The elevator doors slid shut. I leaned back against the cold metal wall and closed my eyes. Five years. I thought I had been climbing the ladder of my career. It turned out I had just been giving them their honeymoon.

My body started heating up again. Mabel was still talking about her achievements during this trip. I responded absent-mindedly; she seemed to notice this on the other end of the line. So, she concluded, "You'll know what a prize I've found when we get back to work on Monday." After hanging up, my mind was overwhelmed by thoughts of the roses and the odd sensation Jeremy had made me feel. I patted my cheeks and told myself to calm down. … My business trip lasted another two days. Throughout that time, I attended various gatherings and seriously kept an eye out for potential streamers. Finally, I discovered one who looked like he would do well.

TRAPPED "Some traps are baited with hope, others with desperation. The cruelest ones use both." ~ LAUREN'S POV ~ The warehouse looked like a wound in the city, jagged and pulsing with dread. My breath misted in the freezing air as I paused at the side entrance, my fingers twitching around the small canister of pepper spray in my coat pocket. I shouldn't be here. I knew it. And yet… The message had been impossible to ignore:

But ghosts know how to haunt. It wasn't easy getting access to the chamber that held the book—so many locks, and traps—but one of the benefits I got from being with Thane—even though it was only temporary and ended with nothing but pain—was that I knew a few things others didn't. My hands trembled as I lifted the book, its cover worn, symbols etched deep into the leather. It thrummed beneath my fingertips—alive. I barely made it past the border before they caught me. Thane’s warriors.
