We get to the dumpster and we both listen in. "I don't hear anything." I tell Tristan. "Me neither." He tells me. "It's possible that they might've suffocated in there, I mean it is hot and stuffy." He says and then he takes in a deep breath and climbs into one of the dumpsters and starts throwing out trash bags. "I'm a fucking don, I rule over Mexico and the west but yet here I am sorting through garbage. I could be home right now playing with my kids or be in between my wife's legs but no I'm here." Tristan murmurs to himself but I cam hear him clearly.

The cleaner nodded and tossed the box by the trash can, muttering, "Worthless trash." I looked at the box and smiled wryly. Trash needs to be thrown away. Then, I turned and left, never looking back.

Just share him—Monday, Wednesday, Friday for Betty, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday for you! Everyone thought they were hilarious. I just sat there, staring at my screen while this sour, bitter feeling crept up and choked me. Tears slid down before I could stop them, splashing onto my phone. They were so in the wrong. And yet somehow, they had the nerve to act like I was the problem. How ridiculous. People like that weren't even worth my tears. I wiped my face and scrolled through the chaos. "Vivian was shaken up after I saved her. I stayed a little longer to make sure she was okay. Don't overthink it." I stared out the window. "I'm not. She's your secretary. Makes sense you'd stick around." Apparently, my indifference hit a nerve. He suddenly slammed the brakes, and my earphones tumbled under the seat. I bent down to grab them—only to spot a swimsuit stuffed underneath. A month ago, that would've wrecked me. Now? I just picked it up and tossed it onto the back seat. Alfred shifted uncomfortably. "Oh, that? Probably Vivian's. She must've left it after a swim lesson."

I ask flatly. Amy's expression shifts to a malicious gleam and she gestures toward the large waste bin near the desk. "Do you mean that old broken thing? If you want it, go pick it up yourself." As she chuckles quietly to herself, I walk over to the trash can and look inside. Everything was in it. My laptop, my personal photos, even the coffee mug my adoptive parents gave me is broken inside....they have all been thrown away like garbage. And the worst part the spilled coffee and food scraps covering them.

However, Henry pretended to be dead, lying motionless as the garbage spilled onto the ground. "Hey, come take a look. Someone's hiding in the trash can. These rich folks are really afraid of dying! This trash can is so smelly and disgusting. I even saw someone throw dog poop in there! Hehehe..." Stan's smile grew wider and wider. "I must say I admire your ability to endure all sorts of humiliation for the sake of escaping. I'm sure it has worked out well for you in the past, but unfortunately, it's me who you're dealing with today. I wonder where the other two kids went. Ah, Henry, you probably don't want to know what happens to those who don't listen, do you?"

I halted when I saw a dumpster, with the trash literally forming a mountain because of how it’s been abandoned by the waste management company. My face twisted into a grossed grimace, but resumed to step closer to the collosal monstrosity while finishing my ice cream. I munched the crispy waffle cone and threw away the paper cover to the dumpster. Out of nowhere, I noticed an arrangement of planks leaning against the wall, with doodles of something inaproppriate I don’t think I should enclose it to you guys. Rather than that, the wooden surface caught my attention, so without thinking much, I reopened the parcel and took out a couple of nails.

Those are mandatory places on my list to clean. The room we are going to be in is very messy. I need to do a lot of things to beautify this room. Now in my hands I have collected a lot of cardboard and plastic waste that I found in this house. Kane had bought some furniture before and it had a lot of cardboard and plastic that I needed to throw away after I took it apart. “Kane, where's the trash can? I want to throw all of this away.”

He kept looking back at me every few steps before dumping all the items into the trash can. "What a waste, throwing all those treasures away," Chloe remarked and proudly walked up to me. "So, did you enjoy listening in last night?"
