The trees started waving again and Theo and I turned the mechanism, slowly making the door open. Oh, ancient trees, reaching for the sky, Whispering secrets as the wind blows by. Your roots run deep, your branches spread wide, Guardians of wisdom, standing side by side. Oh, guardians of the ancient trees, Protectors of all that nature sees. With gradient symbols, their message shows, Balancing harmony as life flows. Finally, the door was fully open and the mechanism stopped. Theo and I massaged the pain throbs off our hands as Sarah tapped the tree and it responded to it.

Sabine frowned "My ancestor would not record this and pass it down through generations if it was not true. However, we can only test the accuracy of it when we have the Tree of life." "I'll do it," Wayne announced, switching to a serious tone "Show me a visual picture of what the tree looks like so I would know what I am searching for," he told Sabine. She nodded and unfolded her arms. Opening the book once again, she flipped to a page just after the narration. A large image of a tree was conspicuously drawn. It was an open crown of wispy, ground-sweeping branches with long, slender leaves. The twigs were yellow, and green foliage fanned down, giving an indication of spring.

That’s her tree there. Tessa noses towards a tree we’re passing, a young sapling barely a few feet tall. I don’t know the species, but I could see it growing this big after three, maybe four years. Its trunk is smooth and pale, almost luminous in the moonlight, and the runes carved into its bark are different—more complex, more deliberate, arranged in patterns that seem to shift when viewed from different angles.

But in time, when you keep looking, you will see the differences. The mixture of black and brown wood gave of the feeling as if the barks where weak, and the burden was too much on them. They looked frail, compared to the thick branches above. There was just too much green leaves, which made the picture too greenish. But then, you notice the yellow speck of colours and that’s all that is needed to explain the picture. I gasped in amazement. On hearing me, Jos turned towards what I was looking. “Oh this? It’s the only thing I’m good at. I’m only good at making trees.”

Eric is currently in the cave at the waterfall, the Big Tiger leads him in and meets his eyes with a glowing tree. "Oh my god, is this tree supposed to be a fruit tree?" Eric looked at the glowing tree, there were three small fruits wrapped around it. Eric doesn't know of any plants that glow yet. Then this fruit's background is not to be despised. The big tiger pulled Eric's hand, making him shiver. But think again about why the Big Tiger wanted to bring him here.

Like something was pressing down on my ribs from the inside. “Anything?” Lucian asked, glancing back at me. “Wrong,” I said. “Everything. But… nothing specific yet.” We crested a slight rise—and saw it. The tree. It grew slightly bent, trunk twisting on itself like it had tried to grow straight and been forced into a curve. Its bark was darker than the others around it, almost black in some places. Symbols had been carved into it—crude but familiar. Circles with three slashes. Lines intersecting like crossed threads.

“This way. The tree should be just beyond this ridge.” They trekked onward, the excitement building with each passing moment. Eventually, they arrived at a small clearing, and there it stood—the old tree, its massive trunk gnarled and twisted, with roots that snaked out like ancient fingers gripping the earth. “Wow,” Jace breathed, taking in the sight. “It’s incredible.” Mia stepped closer, her eyes sparkling. “It feels alive, like it’s watching us.” Elara began sketching the tree, capturing its majesty and the intricate details of its bark. “This is going to be a beautiful illustration for our story.”

Shawn walked in and looked at it oddly. He sat down next to Sebastian, who handed him a cupcake. They looked at Aldridge, who held the metallic mirror frame that was surrounding a tree that had blue crystals on it. Looking at them he said, “So after Joshua’s death I thought hard and long on how to keep him around in our lives and what better way than a family tree. At the bottom of the trunk, we have Shawn’s name, which you can say is like our foundation. The tree only has three sturdy branches, one for me, Sebastian and Joshua. The extending minor branches each have a blue crystal that represents our children, and it is extendable, we just have to take it back.”
