Marriage First, Mate Second

Marriage First, Mate Second

I’ll grab the training dummies! “No, that won’t be necessary, thank you,” I tell him, my anger dissipating in spite of myself, “I’m going to take your word on that.Hey, is it safe to have him off-leash with Hellhound out? I don’t want anything to happen to him. He’s a good boy. Yes, you are!” I address that last part to Hellhound, who gives me a toothy smile. He might not be the best attack dog, but he’s my buddy now. I sigh at this realization. What the hell is happening to me? Am I going soft?

She almost damaged my eardrums with screams "Wendy" "Oh my Gosh sis, I'm so sorry about what happened and that crazy bitch, I hope she's not going to get away with this" "That has been taken care of" "That's better. What about the baby" "The baby is safe" "Oh, thank God". ************************************

Third Person’s POV When Terban entered the boarding house, he was shocked to see a dog wagging its tails in front of him. I'm Not Supposed To Fall For The Lycan

She had been lost in her own thoughts the entire time, just like Andrew. This plan was doomed to fail before it even began. “A—animal,” Trevor stammered. “What animal do you like?” “Cat.” “Great.” Trevor nodded, staring straight ahead while gripping the steering wheel. “Cats and wolves are basically cousins.” By the moon goddess. I wanted to scream at Trevor, telling him to stop yapping like a lunatic. My irritation turned to surprise when I felt Andrew’s hand tremble. I turned to look at him and saw that he was chuckling while looking at Trevor. “Really, Trevor? Where did you learn that?”

I stayed there playing with him for a little while. Dogs are man's best friend. So maybe Trev is a dog. I chuckled alone at that silly thought like a crazy cat. Kidding aside, I wonder, when would I get to see Trevor again? I miss him.

His Second Chance Mate

His Second Chance Mate

I noticed that he had Trevor pinned and fear came over me. I saw Trevor scratching his claws on the ground. If I allowed them to continue like that, the devil would injure him badly or even kill him. Quietly, I arose from my chair and gently carried an iron bar which was leaning against the wall. I tiptoed towards them and lifted the iron bar. I walked close to Denver and hit it forcefully on his head.

Rejected Under The Moonlight

Rejected Under The Moonlight

Ava anxiously paces back and forth in front of Hendrix tent trying to decide if going to see him was a good idea or not. On a normal day, she would have done so without hesitating but not on a day that she was bringing nothing but bad news. "Come on Ava, you just gotta do this once and for all". She sighed deeply, taking a few steps closer to the camp, she tried to peek inside. Hendrix was seated on his chair, head bowed and eyes closed as if he was trying to escape into sleep but couldn’t quite reach it. He looked like a man who had been through too much and wasn’t sure how to come back from it.

 LOVE OF TWO ERAS

LOVE OF TWO ERAS

Dylan gave Laura a suit jacket and held an umbrella for her, but still kept a comfortable distance from her. As soon as the car started, the Tartar dog in Bevis's house began to bark. Because of the visitor, it was locked in aniron cage today, but its ears were still sensitive. Zelda saw that Laura was a little afraid of the dog barking. Dylan lowered the car window and shouted at the Tartar dog twice, "Snowstorm, snowstorm." It's strange, as soon as Dylan opened his mouth, the Tartar dog immediately quieted down, and only barked a few times, it was the kind of docile bark.

I usually don’t read mafia type stories but I thought I’d give this a go since I love the writers fantasy books. This book has a very interesting twist on the Cinderella story. It’s intriguing and it leaves you wanting more! Can’t wait to see how it plays out!

Satisfying Her Darkest Fantasies

Satisfying Her Darkest Fantasies

Tonight, the reward would be sweet indeed. He packed his gear bag, grabbed his saddle and hitched a ride with Cash to the rodeo grounds. Trevor paced in front of the motel room, seething. How dare that know-it-all asshole continue to insist the problems dogging them in the arena were somehow his fault? So maybe he was a little tense, but who wouldn’t be after a losing streak that now reached into double digits? The fact Edgard continually pointed it out and suggested maybe it was time for them to consider other options, flat out pissed him off.

As I look at my year in review, this author and book collection has been monumental in reigniting my hunger for reading. I can't track most of the books from this app easily for my year end count but in my heart this book means the most. I wish I could buy a printed version of each of these. .........

Love this well written book! Thoughts & emotions are conveyed beautifully! The author makes you feel like you know the characters intimately w/o being excessive or mundane. Hot & steamy w/o crude vulgarity! I wish we could give gems at the end of chapter but that’s the app, not the author’s fault.

Frequently Asked Questions

The genius of 'The Angriest Dog in the World' lies in its absurd simplicity. That eternally snarling hound, frozen in the same panel for years in David Lynch’s comic strip, isn’t angry for any tangible reason—that’s the joke. Lynch weaponizes stagnation; the dog’s rage becomes a metaphor for existential futility. It’s hilarious because it’s meaningless. No backstory, no resolution, just perpetual fury at... being a dog? Life? The unchanging backyard? The strip mocks our human need to assign narratives to everything. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, and sometimes a dog is just cosmically pissed.

What fascinates me is how fans still debate hidden meanings—is it about middle-class ennui? Artistic frustration? Nah. I think Lynch just found the concept viscerally funny. The dog’s anger reflects how we all feel before coffee, stuck in loops of irrational irritation. The brilliance is in refusing to explain it. Some art exists to baffle and provoke, and this snarling mascot does both perfectly.
