Jace asked, kissing Ann's forehead gently. "Thanks for having babies for us," Jake said, kissing her right cheek. "We're so glad you're the mother of our children," Jax said, kissing Ann's left cheek. "Children? How many babies did I give birth to?" Ann asked curiously. Panicking, she stood up and started running back toward the pack house as fast as she could. When she got close to the pack territory, she noticed that everyone was running around frantically. People were shouting and moving with urgent purpose. Something big was happening. She stopped one of the maids who was hurrying past her. “What’s happening?” Sarah asked breathlessly. “Why is everyone running around?” The maid looked at her with wide, excited eyes. “The triplets have come back!” she said. “And they’ve demanded that an autopsy be done on the Alpha. They want to know the exact reason for his death.”
