Triwizard Champions Novels & Stories

During my time, however, I catch bits of information that pique my interest. While the Dragon King is the ruler of this land, there isn’t much known about him, or the Royal Family. I learned many things this eventing as I dusted cornices atop wobbling ladders. His name, Zarek Nightflame, rests heavily on my mind. No matter how much I try to ignore it, I find myself speaking it in silence, just to see how it feels on my tongue.

He would have chosen himself to fight, putting his life on the line, because he couldn’t bear to let someone else risk themselves for him. “The Champions’ Right recognizes Luna Santos as the champion for Kane Drax’s claim, and Viktor Volkov as the champion for Marcus Blackthorn’s claim. The fight will begin at dawn tomorrow in the ceremonial arena. Calla will observe and make the final judgment on the result,” the Chief Elder declared formally. As the Tribunal started to discuss the details, I caught Luna’s gaze across the chamber. She had just volunteered to fight a monster who was probably a hundred pounds heavier than her and had decades more experience.

Shadowmere’s recent troubles weren’t secret, but a proxy in the trials was tradition when an alpha’s seat teetered. Dorian leaned forward from his seat, voice dry and cutting. “The draw has been made. First bout: Kade versus Rorik. Elimination rules apply. Yield or fall. The victor advances. The final champion earns the ancient right, one wish from the defeated alpha’s pack, binding and unbreakable.” The crowd hushed, the weight of those words settling like stones.

"Your mastery over elemental magic and your unwavering loyalty make you an ideal candidate. Will you join this quest?" Felicity, standing tall and resolute, stepped forward. "I will, Supreme Sorcerer. I shall serve our coven with all my power." Constantine nodded, then turned her gaze to Freya, a witch known for her unparalleled knowledge of ancient spells. "Freya, your expertise in ancient magic is unmatched. Will you lend your talents to this mission?" Freya, her expression one of fierce determination, stepped forward to join Felicity. "I pledge my abilities to our cause, Supreme Sorcerer."

I whisper and let all of my training take over. “Over the next several hours,” the king booms, “our champions for the Trials will be chosen. Only the strongest, the most cunning, will move onto the first Trial.” He looks down at the crowd at the base of the arena–us–the people in chains. But his eyes hold on mine. I feel nothing but a sudden gust of determination as I stare back, unafraid. “Only one fighter will ascend to the Trials from each round of the Culling, a fight to the death,” he says, and the crowd of spectators explodes in applause. “But in this round, whoever kills the three shifter bitches gets an automatic pass.”

Then I saw Alpha Bastian at the far left drinking with Healer Harold, one of the pack's most trusted men. The ceremony ground was decorated with hanging lanterns that cast a warm glow over the mingling crowd. Tables laden with food and drink lined up while the center remained open for the main event. It made me more angry at how none of the council men had tried getting on my side when they knew I'd be the next head. They didn't see me but I'd show them all of them. I turned my head away to find Gretchen and I see her as I was about to approach when Dalia's voice stopped me in my tracks.

In the center stood a stone pedestal with a large, glowing orb atop it, pulsing with a soft, blue light. Surrounding the pedestal were four towering stone statues, each depicting different mythical creatures—an owl, a lion, a serpent, and a stag. “Step forward, Damien,” Wulfric urged. “It’s your trial.” Damien hesitated, feeling the weight of their gazes. He took a deep breath and stepped forward, the light from the orb illuminating his face. As he approached, a voice boomed through the clearing. “Chosen One, to claim your path, you must answer my riddle:

She had been the witch of Thralia forever and getting the training from the ancient ones, she and her siblings grew up being the most trusted siblings in the kingdom of Thralia. While Willow reached to the third brick, smashing it with all of her power, Griffin was still breaking the first one. She then noticed one of the sea witches were not present there, it kind of diverted her attention. And at last, it was Willow who won the rivalry. Letting out a wide smirk from her face, she winked into her direction uttering, "Like always, Griffin. I am the winner…" "You cheated on me! This is cheating! Your brother ran away!"

Emma that was watching them let out a small giggle, but the distraction didn't last long when Madame Lu appeared on the platform again. "We already have our ten champions of the first stage. The next battles will be determined by points. Whoever has more points will go up in the rankings." A girl with a box appeared again on the platform. "Now, let's welcome our ten finalists!" The crowd went crazy but when the ten amazing warriors stepped into the platform, Gia, Elton, Ilian, Allen, and the Duke were the obvious ones. However, never in a thousand years, a person in the crowd believed that the delicate-looking Silver Fairy would reach that height.

At 5pm all the coalitions top member already gathered in the Tri-Nation Valley, Forward Operations Base. Duke Merrica, Earl Canran Von Masvit, 5th Prince Sladin Abraham, Princess Angela Seraphim of Dukedom of Angela, Grand Wizard Lionel Alkord from the Coalitions of Wizadly and Shcolar, and Elder Carrn Furry from Free Nation of Triangle Guilds.
