Then, she placed a crown decorated with bloodline motifs and wolf's claws on top of my head. Oracle Alice opened the red box. She carefully placed a necklace with a wolf's head pendant, made of ruby, around my neck. Then, she attached a ring with a wolf carved on a red gemstone to my middle finger. The pack elders gathered solemnly. They chanted ancient words in the werewolf language. Fine white powder floated in the air, floating around me like snow on a winter night. I could feel the magical energy coming alive around me. In one harmonious rhythm, they chanted. “The forces of earth, sky, and moon unite to bless our new leader. Our Luna is the light of life. You are our leader, our hope, an

My insides jumped and my newly reacquired black wings fluttered at the sight of him in his deep teal suit and bronze and white tie. He winked and my smile grew as I thought about the vision of my future Laeddin gave me. Someday soon, Troy and I would have children and a life of our own. Of that I had zero doubts. Next to Pops was Jesse as well as Heathcliff, Gabe and the remaining seven uncles. They were all exceedingly fine. More than once, I heard someone in the supernatural crowd comment about how gorgeous all of them were. Among the guests were vampires, unicorns, gargoyles, elves, fairies, Locanis, Vaktare, and more. Some from the different realms and others from the Seven Magics Academ

I traveled back to the coliseum alone, Isaac none the wiser. I traveled right to the center of the ring. Christopher was still knelt beside Axel putting in the last stitch on his hand. He didn't notice me, or if he had, he didn't make a move. I rushed a shadow to him, just to see what he'd do. I didn't make it very far before the shadow was bound to the ground and I couldn't pull at it. Isaac squeezed my shoulder from behind with a smile for the crowd to see. "It seems we have our victor. Christopher Miles you have beat all participants in the ceremony for Zerena Watts. You have proven your worth and your strength to all who are present, and to those watching at home. May the shadows bind th

Liora stepped into the circle, her mask still in place, her body in pain but her head held up high. “ It is always tradition that the last champion gives the crown to the next champion and Alpha Draven has always proven he is the best but tonight we have a winner– who hasn't claimed a pack yet and an identity hidden won it.” The elder bragged. The crowd shouted– screaming and shooting guns upward in honor of the moon goddess and an appreciation to the former champion. Liora smiled as she walked down to where the crown was placed. The elder called upon Draven to give out the crown. He stepped forward, the crowd silent as he stared at Liora smirking.

Seeing as how I have been promised to the son of the pack leader. There lies my dilemma and the real reason behind my desire to have the full student experience. I have to choose between two of my best male friends growing up. Landon, and Logan Woulfe. The twins. The problem isn’t that they are ugly, there is nothing wrong with either of them. They are perfect male specimens. I just don't see them as anything other than my childhood friends.

Bonnie asked. “Remember when I told you that I was a spawn of Zerpla?” Taylor asked. “Champion is another name for a spawn.” “Okay, but what does this other champion want with Taylor?” Bonnie continued to question. “Champions want to collect all the artifacts so that they can gain all of Zerpla’s powers. All this trouble is coming from a champion who is looking for Taylor’s trident,” Eliza explained. “Okay. If we find Barracuda, can’t Taylor just give it to him and convince him to leave?” she tried.

I walked in and found him waiting—black coat, silver hair, a chessboard set up on the altar. “Alessia,” he said. “Or should I say… daughter of the blood war.” I didn’t say anything—not yet. He pointed to the board. Two pieces stood side by side. A Queen. A Bishop. “I’ll give you a choice,” Viktor said, grinning like the devil he was. “One piece walks out. One piece burns.” I narrowed my eyes. “What do they represent?” He shrugged. “That’s for you to decide. But if you choose wrong… the next piece off the board is Luca.”

“Welcome to our Tri-World Tournament that is held every ten years! Every once in a decade, the gates that separate the three worlds unite to strengthen the harmony of peace among us. I am pleased to announce that we are doing that starting today until the end of this month – no boundaries that are forbidden to cross, no animosity among the blood enemies, just magic!” On cue, fireworks in the shapes of dragons raced to the cloudless horizon. Upon reaching the sky, a beautiful tree bloomed above them followed by the logo of Transylvania Academy – a six-pointed star with the initials of T and A. This spectacular show elicited cheers and a round of applause from the students that were sitting on
