Dangerous

Dangerous

Dangerous. Patrons and staff of SubTerra used only one word to describe Jon Moretti; dangerous. He was one of many dangerous men who walked through the clandestine establishment, and yet Jon Moretti was the one they warned her about. Career criminals, thieves, arsonists, gang members, murderers… the club was a prestigious hub, built specifically to give these menacing people a place where, ironically, they could feel safe. A place they knew police officers wouldn’t be barging through the door to arrest them, thanks to a low-key business agreement between the owner, Frank Muscovado, and some crooked government officials with the power to sweep the booming business under the rug.

Wrong Train, Right Trouble

Wrong Train, Right Trouble

“So… Genevieve?” Christian’s gaze met mine when he replied. “Ex-girlfriend. The ink was a mistake.” His voice was devoid of humor, which only deepened my curiosity. There was weight behind that name—history, maybe even pain. Tig grabbed a portfolio filled with designs that could weave around letters, cleverly masking them. Christian landed on an intricate tribal motif.

ignore his request for help."I'm sorry to hear that, Oliver," she said, reaching across the table to touch his hand. "Of course, I'll help in any way I can."Oliver nodded gratefully. "Thank you, Janet. You don't know how much this means to me."They sat in silence for a few moments, neither of them knowing what to say. The tension between them was palpable, and Janet wondered if it would ever go away."How have you been, Janet?" Oliver asked, breaking the silence.Janet took a sip of her coffee, trying to think of an answer. "I've been good, busy with work and the kids," she said finally. "What about you?""I've been busy with pack business," Oliver said, shrugging. "You know how it is."Janet n

Vexed

Vexed

He crashed through the kitchen making a mess as everything on the countertops dropped to the floor. He knocked over the large pot of pasta sauce on top of the stove in his struggles and slipped in it making an even bigger crashing sound. The stairway lights came on and he flashed into the other room in an instant to hide; moving so fast he didn't leave a trail behind him. He peaked around the door way to find the husband investigating the scene.

Troublesome Merchant

Chapter 5 An enormous-looking worm rose from the ground. The guards were unshaken and so were Lucia and Clarisse. "It's a 'Ver De Terre', a massive one surprisingly," Clarisse said. "Clarissa! Let's do work!" Lucia said enthusiastically, and the two walked forward. "We'll handle this, stay back there and protect the princess," Clarisse ordered the guards. "You hear her!" The captain added. "We'll do this," Zane was beside the two.

She asked and I nodded. “We have to make sure we’re back before dinner,” Ember warned. “Of course” I replied and she pulled me along with her. …… Ember and I came to a sudden stop, we were alone at this side of the school, still in the main building. Ember comes to an abrupt stop and I wonder why. “It’s here, the solitary confinement is here” She pointed to the ground and raised the rug a bit and I saw a door on the ground. I swallowed hard.

This book is a wonderful blend of drama , love and reality . I'd say this book is perfect for anyone who is questioning his/her life choices in terms of a relationship and is also a casual reading pleasure. Would rate the book a sweet 10/10 .

What a great book - well written with minimal errors. So many emotions. Lots of twists and turns. It was hard to put the book down because the storyline was captivating. Love the ending. Definitely worth reading.

Trouble in Paradise

Trouble in Paradise

I hid my head as well. I was nervous. Nothing good ever came out of going through your partner's phone. I was scared of finding evidence of his and Claudia's dalliance, but I was also afraid of finding nothing and becoming paranoid. My teeth were chattering as I thought of the rosary beads he liked to wear. Nicholas, what exactly were you hiding from me? Whether it was my trembling hands or nervousness, I entered the wrong password several times. At last, a message appeared on the screen: "Incorrect password. Please retry in 30 seconds."

Ok... After reading all the reviews, I decided not to waste my time. I don't want to go read the book. The way the Ariana has been portrayed as a stupid week wife, i can't take that. At least, not in books. Here, at least, I want to read The Strongest Women.

It's really sad... I am finding it really hard to keep reading this storyline... Ariana deserves happiness and Claudia needs to move out.. move on.. and good riddance of her presence in a married couples relationship !!!!!!!!!!¡

A TROUBLED SURVIVOR, A TREANDING DESIRE

A TROUBLED SURVIVOR, A TREANDING DESIRE

So I have a tomboy and a boy bully to deal with'. I looked at the other one and realized he was still not looking at me. I was so drawn I didn't even realize I had moved closer to them. The moment I was a meter I away, I think! Well I must have moved in slow motion; I smelled the most intoxicating smell I have ever smelled. I wasn't sure who it was from but the other boy was still looking down rubbing his eyes I couldn't tell but I swear that was the same intoxicating smell that I got from the boy I met, or bumped into at the corridors. Troubled that he had been rubbing his eyes for too long and I’m sure it would get an infection.
