You said that wouldn’t happen until I’m twenty-one.” Troy just shrugged and turned his back on the dead Lycan. Wordlessly, he made his way to the stream and waded into the shallow water. I trudged over to the stream and stomped my foot like a petulant child. “Why are you lying to me?”

The prospect was both terrifying and exciting. He took hold of my shoulders. "Alone you may be no match for Sharra but think if there were dozens or hundreds like you. She wouldn't stand a chance. The boys quickly formed a defense stance behind each other giving me the chance to look at the source of such a strong voice. The tattooed stranger! “And who are you to tell us that?” The leading guy asked, his voice hard unlike that of a teenager he is. “Someone who can break your bones and dumb them in a police cell if you don’t leave this minute” he threatened It’s highly unhealthy how his strong command makes my painties wet in the face of danger.
