They need to know who the fuck they’re dealing with, and that I’m not fucking around anymore. “Who the fuck are you?” I ask the stranger with no preamble. He prickles. “All right, dickhead, you—” Henry holds his hand out between us. “This is Jace Covett. He’s…a friend.” “Covett.” I roll the name around in my mouth. The shape of it is familiar to me. “There was a Covett in the remains of Thano Coppola’s books.” “Don’t fucking say that name,” he hisses.

she said. "Like hell, I wanna know and how do you relate to me? Are you my big aunty?" Jon asked. "And what about this old man? The last time I remember, this man was the security guard in the orphanage home back then and he always behave like a madman but now this old man is not only handsome without any shred of madness but he is here in the mysterious association. Jon said with an anguished face.

Jena's taunts make Aiora throw her medicine bottle annoyed at Jena who is caught with alacrity. Jena laughed "Is he very strong?" The temptation is again. Aiora glared annoyed "I'll shoot you if you ask again." The threat made Jena laugh even more rolling on the bed. "Shit!" Especially not a male stranger who appeared to be unmated. “I think he's new.” Jonah said, interrupting my thoughts. “I don't give two shits about that, J.” I glared in their direction again, as if that would telepathically tell him to stay clear of her. “I want to know who that bastard is before the end of the day. I want to know everything, including who his fucking grandma is and why he fucking decided to show up in the middle of the semester from Nowheresville.”

Introducing a New Character – Jonah The next day, a young man named Jonah appeared at the doorstep. He was tall, lean, and carried an aura of confidence. “I heard about what happened,” he said, his voice calm but firm. “I want to help. I study spiritual and psychological protection. Call me a… consultant of sorts.” Sandra looked skeptical. “Consultant? Or another problem waiting to happen?” Jonah smiled faintly. “I only seek to help. I’ve studied Kate’s methods and can assist in protecting your family.”

This man carried an undeniable presence. His bearing radiated authority, and his physique was unmistakably that of a seasoned military officer. The Taylors exchanged uneasy glances. Jonah, however, remained calm, his gaze steady as the man approached. Without hesitation, the stranger lowered his head in reverence before the crowd. Then, dropping to one knee, he declared, "I am Dexter McGrath, head of security for the royal family. It is an honor to meet you, Prince Jonah."

But you need to be a bit more careful," I nodded my head, trying to understand his perspective. The same stranger came out of Jonathan's room. My question seemed to be funny because he just started laughing. I felt my cheeks heat up as he continued to laugh.

Liam tried to keep the snark out of his voice, but he wasn’t sure he managed it. “Darius Carathurs,” Jonathon continued, apparently not hearing Liam’s attitude or choosing not to. “He could potentially be a problem for you.”
