A black Camaro pulled up in front of the Schmidt house around two in the afternoon, snapping Cassie out of her surveillance coma. Shrinking back in her seat, she watched as Tricia emerged from the house, dressed as the floozy alter ego, and got into the Camaro. As they pulled away from the curb, Cassie recorded the plate number.

George and his assistant made their way over to the king's chamber where he had been in isolation and locked down, knocking on his doors before pushing it in without waiting for a response. Hughes had a constant frown on his face, pacing the floors of the chamber that once belonged to the former king, “What is it now?” He barked as he noticed the feature on the doctor's face. George hesitated, wringing her hands together before he mustered the courage to speak, “It’s the silver bloods, they are in the castle.” This piece of information seemed to trigger something in Hughes. Already being irritated, his anger rose as he thought of those white-haired freaks loitering around in the castle.

Chapter 43: Trust Is Earned Damien I had to get out of there, I thought I smelled the faint sweet blood but I figured I was just getting hungry.
