It was either too tight or too loose. Today I decided to go with a pair of black slacks, that were just a little too big around the waist, so I matched it with a white belt. I also wore a long sleeve turtleneck shirt, that I tucked inside my waistband. Since it was cold, I also put on a black suit jacket, that I purchased with the slacks.

They were all standing in perfect rows, hands behind their backs, presumably waiting. For me, apparently. And there, at the centre of it all, was Alaric. He looked unfair, dressed impeccably, I would say. The beige turtleneck hugged his body like it had been knitted onto him. It was soft cashmere that clung to his broad chest and shoulders, showing off every line of muscle without trying too hard. It was a warm, expensive beige, the kind that looked quiet but screamed money. The colour made his skin look richer, his dark hair sharper, and those cold eyes stand out even more.

He yelled back. Clothes that are not showing too much skin. Is he talking about sexy outfits? Should I not wear a sexy outfit? I immediately rummaged in my luggage and just realized all of my clothes were conservative. I never wear sexy clothes because I might get sick the next day by exposing too much skin. Even though he seems a tad bit relaxed, especially after my compliment. “You polish up nicely, too, Kid.” He says simply, even though a little awkwardly, as though he’s not sure if that’s the right thing to say. I give him a bright smile.

Just as I was about to fall, a faint scent of oud wood enveloped me from behind. Leaning back against someone's firm chest, I turned my head around. Calvin steadied me and said calmly, "Careful." After that, he stayed behind me and used his arm to shield me from the crowd. It wasn't until he called my name when we got into the car that I snapped back to my senses. My gaze drifted back to the chest I had just leaned against instinctively. It was no wonder they said a black turtleneck was the sexiest shirt a man could wear. As expected of someone who worked out every morning, Calvin's pecs that were outlined beneath that thin black knit sweater were a form of blatant seduction.

It was evening but due to winter time, darkness easily and fastly engulfed the day. Alden stood before his small cupboard and glanced at his clothes. I had never worn a tunic before, but I had to admit that it did not look horrible on me. It was the perfect fit, and the V-neck showed some of the tattoos that my girl loved. There was gold stitching that created random patterns, adding just a hint of detail. “That looks perfect! I was requested to give you this as well,” Maunish said.
