Chapter 1: The Haunting Moonrise In the village of Ravenswood, a sense of unease gripped the inhabitants as the night of the full moon approached. As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the landscape, a chilling howl echoed through the forest. The villagers shuttered their windows, locked their doors, and whispered tales of the werewolf's return. Chapter 2: The Hunter's Burden

CHAPTER 129: DAUGHTERS OF SUN AND MOON RHEA'S POV: SONG OF THE CHAPTER: THE ARCHER BY TAYLOR SWIFT **** The moonlight kisses the edges of the trees, casting everything in a cold silver glow. I’m still catching my breath, the adrenaline from the spirit-wolf’s attack thudding in my veins like war drums. Kaia is a step behind me, her head turned toward the direction it vanished, her golden eyes wide with confusion.

As he lifts me to my feet, he leans in close. “I’ll find you tonight, green eyes,” he whispers. “And there’ll be no escaping then.” He lets go without another word and jogs back onto the field. Harold, now sitting on the bench, rushes over and throws my arm around his shoulder, helping me down the tunnel and toward the locker room. My entire body is in severe pain, but it’s nothing compared to the chaos swirling in my head as realization slowly sets in. Shane is a werewolf. Just like me.

“I, Killian Knight, future Alpha of Pack Shadowfang, reject Raine Bittley as my mate.” I didn’t cry. I didn’t scream. I didn’t beg. I just... smiled faintly, because I never expected to be his mate anyway. Finally, it was all over. But that freedom only lasted a moment before the pain hit my body. My left chest felt crushed. My breath caught. My legs wobbled. My knees gave way and I fell to my knees on the cold marble floor, biting my lip hard to keep from screaming. The burning sensation... was unbearable!

I say, irritated. I give Ansel and Matteo each a stern look before I go on. "Now... While we where fighting, there was a point when I felt the tide was going to shift against us, we were out of ammo, and I was scared we may loose, my hands glowed with a yellow light, and then all the rest of the vampires died in a few seconds... lets see, what else... ummm... OH! The first time that I tried to shift there was a strange purple light, and then I passed out for what? 3 days?" I look to Ansel and Micheal for confermation. They both nod their heads then Micheal adds out loud.

Charlotte nods again. “You have already seen how a werewolf shifts into a wolf?” Theo asks. “Yes.” Charlotte answers. She has seen Azraiel shift into his wolf and now she has seen several pups and warriors shift too. “Okay…I want you to close your eyes.” Charlotte does as he says. “Now, imagine yourself here, two weeks later. There is a full moon in the sky, shining brightly bathing you in its light. You are surrounded by the people you love. Azraiel is here, right beside you. The pack isn’t here but they are supporting you. You are lying here on the ground when suddenly the pain starts. Your body starts burning and you feel like someone has lit up a fire on your head. You start sweating and

The spell was falling apart faster than she thought, she needed to renew it and fast. In a flurry of panic, she began looking left and right and then she darted out of the cabin wheezing like a deranged monster. **** Alpha Draven sat stoically in his study, and there was a dull pain in his chest as he nursed a glass of Scotch. What the hell just happened in Zara’s cabin? How did the orange-haired woman get to Zara’s cabin and why was she naked? That was not even the poignant question, the question was, why was he moved by her?

Twilight looked away and cursed under her breath before walking ahead, Eric following behind. In Eric’s car, Twilight clenched her jaw, staring quietly out the window as he drove. Eric pulled over onto a quiet street. As they got out, Twilight led him through a small alley toward her apartment. She suddenly halted and turned to him. "Wait here. I need to tell my father before you come in. He hates visitors." Eric frowned slightly, curious, but he decided to stay silent.
