CASPIAN'S POV She wasn’t saying anything. She wasn’t screaming. She wasn’t panicking (if her steady heartbeat was anything to go by). She wasn’t even crying. She was just still. And I found that I was the one who was panicking. “Uh Cas, we have a problem,” Jasper linked me. “What is it?” I replied. “I found Jasmine like you instructed, and well, she’s my mate.” “I thought so,” Hades said.

I say, staring at my plate. Jace looks up delighted. "Has Alpha Esis found his mate already? That's good news. Now he and Jasper are both mated!" he exclaims delightedly. Jasper! That's the name I'm looking for. Now only the person has to match the description Saray gave me. "Who is Jasper?" I ask quasi uninterested. "My Alpha. I'm his Beta and our pack is Storm Forest," he responds proudly. My heart pounds like crazy. Is this a coincidence? Or did the Moon Goddess of the werewolves make us meet? I look up, straight into his eyes. "And what is your Luna's name?" I ask with bated breath.

After Derek and I sat down, Robert called the meeting to order. "This is a discussion of the events of November 23rd. On that date, Ms. Elizabeth Summers, now known as Kimberly Sparks, was attacked by a vampire. David Jones and Derek Michael intervened during the attack on Ms. Sparks and in the process, turned her into one of us. We are here to determine if their actions that night were appropriate." "Ms. Sparks, would you please come forward?" I looked at Derek and stood, wiping my sweaty palms on my jeans as I walked to the chair and sat facing the Council.

“Claire?” She turned. Jasper stood there in plain clothes—no crest, no guards, no expectation in his eyes. “Would you walk with me?” he asked. “Just once around the square.” She glanced at Edward. He gave her a nod. “Go.” --- They walked slowly, the crowd parting around them. The music played softly, a lilting tune that reminded her of simpler days. “I almost didn’t come tonight,” Jasper said. “I noticed,” Claire replied. He looked at her. “When I was young, I thought power meant never needing to apologize.”

So yeah, this entire interaction between Jace and Ava, alongside everyone else makes it quite the challenge, but one I am willing to take in hopes of becoming a better writer. When it comes to overall writing, I enjoy Kira and Zed the most. I wanted to have over the top characters as some sort of comic relief, and Zed definitely fills that role. Yes, he is a pretty big creep, but his personality allows to ease the moment a little, at least before all that crazy stuff with the elves happened hehe. And Kira, well, she's just a gem of a grandma, what can I say? Hehe, I'm sure some of you thinks she's just a cranky old lady, but she is one of my favorite additions to the cast and kind of my own

DORA The moment his lips touched mine, electric currents spread all over my body. I had never been kissed before, so I froze with my eyes wide open, staring at Jasper's closed eyes. Something in me wanted to taste him too, but before I could respond, Jasper pulled back, and when he opened his eyes, they were golden yellow. When they landed on me, I could see the primal desire in them, and that made a pleasant shiver run down my spine. “Dora.” Jasper stepped forward, but his eyes flickered back to black, and instead of desire, I saw concern. “I am so sorry for doing that. I didn’t mean to. It was my wolf.”

Surprisingly my wolf obeys his command and cowers away. I turn towards the voice and growl, "Who the hell are you?!" He gives me a smirk, before walking towards me. Standing right in front of me he looks me dead in the eye and says, "I am your Alpha pup. Now I said stand down. Do not make me tell you again. If you want your mate back you will do well to shut up and listen. I have no problem taking my daughter's mate away from her!" I raise my brow and think. Is this Jasper Knight? Could this possibly be Zaraphines father? "My mates' father is dead! Now, who are you?" I question with a growl. "I can assure you, son, I am not dead."

I finally asked, not taking my eyes off him even for a moment. “What are you talking about?” He asked with a raised brow. I didn't give a response to his question, instead, I just heaved and then threw my head backwards. Alpha Jasper was ruthless and evil; if there was another name that was stronger than those two, I would have awarded them to him.

His body faded into a mist, his face swaying in and out of existence, a devilish smirk on his lips. "You'll never kill me. I'll come for her. I'll remind her of her place beneath me." He flashed his fangs at the Alpha and cackled. Jayce's chest heaved quickly as he swiped the face again, the mist disappearing and Jasper gone. His muscles bulged against his shirt, tearing it in a few places. He howled out in frustration, punching the wall nearest him.

Cassandra's POV: Upon awakening, I immediately sensed an absence in the bed beside me. Jasper was nowhere to be found, prompting an involuntary pout. As I lay there, my mind drifted to the events of the previous night, during which Jasper had been incredibly supportive of my choices and even sought my assistance with his work, as his mother had done for his father. This memory brought a smile to my face, but it was short-lived as I remembered that Jasper and Julie had spent the weekend in the same bed where I now lay. My mood soured, and I recalled the words of Kenny, which reminded me that I had no right to feel upset about the situation. Had I spoken up or been in a relationship with Jaspe
