A thing already decided. I saw it then. A light, warm and faintly gold, shimmering in the center of Dominic’s chest, not visible to ordinary sight, not even visible to most wolves, but I had the Twilight Eyes now, and the Twilight Eyes saw everything that carried power. The light pulsed slowly, like a second heartbeat, and I understood without being told that it was his wolf core beginning to surface. The deepest part of him. The part that did not negotiate.

“Twins.” He barely looks in their direction “Yeah, don’t worry about them.” From the corner of my eye, I see the twins shift into identical grey-blue wolves. They launch themselves at Adrian, but within a fraction of a second he shifts and a just before they fall on him, his massive claws rip through their chests, leaving large gashes behind. Blood explodes from the wounds and they sag to the ground, their ragged breathing, and the scent of their blood spoiling the clean night air. “Are…they…dying?” I struggle out the words.

The book lay open between them, the aged pages worn and delicate, the ink faded but still legible. The illustration stared back at them—two wolves beneath an eclipsed moon, one black, one white. Tangled together. Bound. Selene traced the image with her fingertips, her pulse thrumming in her ears. “The Wolves of the Eclipse,” she murmured, repeating the words as if saying them aloud would somehow bring more clarity. Theoden leaned in beside her, his piercing blue eyes fixed on the text. “What does it say?”

Twilight stared at him, uncertain of what to say. “You did nothing wrong,” he continued. “I'll find a way to fix everything. You just need to trust me.” Twilight bit down on her lower lip. She wanted to trust him, but another part of her held back—afraid. Afraid that if she dared to hope, she’d only be dragged back into the werewolf world her father had warned her about. “I can’t,” she sniffed, wiping her tears with the back of her hand. “I don’t want to drag you into my misery.”

Plus one vampire observer. The Battle of the Rookeries is about to begin.

The Moon Goddess sending them the visual images lightened up the mood substantially now for Alexi and Nicolas. Nicolas and Alexi hardly ever watch TV, they are working on pack business, averting the next crisis, extensive training, and lots of sex. Tonight, they held each other while they decided what to watch on TV. They weren't in the mood for twilight, as even the Vampires had to fight off their own king. They watched "Teen Wolf", that would bring them a lot of eyes rolling and laughter. The movie was silly and not what werewolves are like at all. It was a fun movie though, and they could laugh.

he growled, pulling her closer. His eyes were wild, desperate. Claire struggled, but Ryan pinned her arms at her sides. "You don't understand!" she cried. "Then make me understand!" he shouted back. Their faces were inches apart, both panting, glaring. Lightning cracked across the sky, casting their shadows in stark relief. For a moment, neither moved. Neither breathed. Claire's mind screamed at her to fight— to run— but something in Ryan’s eyes made her freeze. Pain.

he entered the restaurant and sat down close to the window so he could enjoy the view presented outside. Once settled in, a waitress with blonde hair and blue eyes approached Eric who at the time was browsing through his phone responding to messages which seemingly came pouring in. "Hello sir" greeted the waitress "can I get you something to drink?" Eric lifted his eyes off his phone for a second and his eyes met with this blonde waitress waiting to take his order with a bright smile on her face. He gazed at her for a few minutes and had forgotten she had asked a question. Oh, those blue eyes he thought to himself as he smiled back at her. Can I get you something to drink she asked again? E

Ashley teased with a smile that didn't last long to Adrian's glare "Oops!" She looked away. Adrian held the squeezed paper up "It won't be pretty if anything happens, Miss Dawson" he warned, his grey eyes piercing deep into hers. He dropped the paper and walked away, awfully angry he lost another argument.

Looking up, Twilight sees the many flying creatures of the conduit. He ignored them. After all, those things ignored him too as they kept their many eyes glued to the skies for any jets or enemy planes. And he’s already recorded those creatures and their abilities in his book. Twilight shuddered as he remembered the start of the invasion. The human government tried its best to fight back but the creatures summoned by the voice and its conduits were just too powerful. Twilight shook his head to rid his mind of the horrible memories. Following the prowler’s trail, he notices that the top of the vehicles was slightly dented.
