It wasn't long before she found out that she could read everything despite very slowly. “I fight.” He growled. “You’re the Moonborn. If they take you” “Then I’ll die fighting,” she snapped. “I’m not hiding again.” Their eyes locked. And Kael saw it. She was no longer the girl who had stumbled into his pack, broken and rejected. She was the Luna of Midnight. The Moonborn heir. A warrior. “Then we fight together,” he said softly. The southern gate exploded inward. Dark wolves flooded through the breach, larger, faster, and twisted. Their eyes glowed red like coals. Their howls were not natural; they were screams warped by pain and dark magic.

I don’t really care about that, I just want to find my Luna and hold her in my arms. My wolf, Midnight keeps jumping around in circles in my mind. “Where’s Luna, where’s my Luna he asks?” “I don’t see her nor smell her yet and she never responded to my text, Midnight” I tell him. “Oh well, let me have some fun,” said Midnight as he jumps to the front of my mind and takes over my body. He walks us over to the table with a spread of different moonshines, grabs a paper cup and pours. He slams the first drink and pours another. I can feel him giddy and excited to be at this mating party.

I hear the white witch sigh I wish I knew her name. “Tana is the only creature that can harness the eternal flame! No one else has done it without burning up! She serves the flame well and in return is gifted endless energy. A witch with endless energy could make this world anything they want. It is dangerous and if she gets her hands on it she will destroy this world!” How does she know so much about this witch? I don't even have to ask. She turns back to me it looks like pain flashes across her face momentarily and she pulls her sleeve to her right hand up. On her wrist lays a black tattoo that nearly glows. It is the marking of the Mizune sisters also known as the soul eaters.

A silky voice purred from the treeline opposite her, as a figure slipped from the shadows. They had arrived. Maddie straightened her spine and fixed the woman with hard eyes that barely concealed her hatred. “A representative from each pack. Erik, a warrior of Mountain Forest, Beta Connor of Dark Night, Beta Rowan of Silver Moon and myself. I am both Silver Moon and Dark Night and therefore my own representation.” She paused, taking a breath that chilled each word. “There is only one other like me and he’s in your custody.” The woman chuckled, sauntering into the clearing with an arrogance that made sure they both knew who held the power in their conversation. “I’m not sure that is following

I glared at this supposed Glinda as I got to my feet. “Will you stop with the stupid alliterations? I am not Glinda the Good Witch. This is not the Wizard of Oz.” Not Glinda rolled her eyes. She’s had enough of my melodrama. Well, too fucking bad. I’m allowed to be as crazy and weird as I want. “I am Chiara, Crone of the Oscurità e Luce coven. The witch that has started this war and is currently keeping you imprisoned in your mind is my twin sister Melania. She’s supposed to be dead.”Chiara sighed.

“I will be taking care of this Nate. For a while, you should mend your wounds. I will be seeking you with Marie with me.” With her pentagram drawn to where Nate is currently standing. The Maiden’s ability is the one more prominent to her rather than the two with the flame of the prince. Marks and activated, sending Nate back to his room, that then slowly calms the storm, along with the lighting and roaring thunder that all along is scarring the mortals that are caught up in anything of this. “DAMN!”
