I found myself wandering along a secluded stone path leading to a hidden courtyard, a place that had once been filled with echoes of our past conflicts and now promised a fragile new beginning. If I hadn’t grown up around werewolves I would probably be staring at him too. Werewolves have this amazing ability to attract all the attention around them when they wanted it, and the older, more experienced ones could blend in like they were invisible if they needed to too.

Shannon POV I could feel my anger rising, my heart beating hard, my feet trembling, my head flaming and I gnashed my teeth. I could feel my anger rising so badly that I had to clutch my hands to control my rising anger. "I am the one that is worth this position, not her and I can't allow her to have it."
