" One more word, Niel and I don't mind severing that pretty head of yours from your body," Alpha Drake said, his smile like that from the pit of Hades. That brought shivers, whimpering and silence among the wolves. Everyone valued their lives. But then one of the wolf stepped forward, his head slightly bowed. His aura was less than Drake but higher than the rest.

We had done it a number of times for people who were mated to rogues, and were exposed to danger. My father hissed. "Not with Larkxe. The Alpha commanded everyone. Five minutes later, everyone, including Luna Lisa, had shifted. The Alpha took the lead, with his wife by his side. Off, the entire pack went running into the woods. Barely thirty minutes into their run, a loud howl filled the night. The entire pack stopped running and turned to the wolf who let out an agonized howl. It turned out to be Luna Lisa. Two female wolves went to her and she let them know the baby was coming. They communicated this to the entire pack using mind-link. At once, the Alpha shifted back to his human form.

Mykel’s wolf was silver, a breed of wolf known for their extraordinary gifts. This year was our turn to hold the annual Alpha meeting. Ever since Mykel stepped up and took over from his father, he had avoided each one with the excuse he wasn’t ready. But not this year, had we refused to accommodate it would have been seen as a great disrespect to the surrounding packs as well as those who are coming from further away.

He kissed my neck making the tingle spark like electricity going throughout my body, and he bit me a little making me groan! "Adam people are staring!" I whined! He growled, and looked around angry "everyone the meeting will be commenced tomorrow, as of now me and my mate have to talk so get out!he growled" and I saw the all the alphas wolfs come out not liking the disrespect of the young alpha as their eyes changed to red and I knew Adam disrespecting them was going cause a fight if I didn't something to calm their wolves

I shook my head, nervously and shaken. James and I are the lead wolves here. He is called alpha 1; and I, alpha 2; Caleb, is Beta 1; and Miranda, my close friend is Beta 2. Jazzy is our only gamma and our chem wiz. We have a group of about twenty of us. There were two other groups, but unfortunately, they have come up to be outnumbered drastically over the years. Most of the members of the other groups have long died. Making them merge with the other groups.

And as tradition the first runner up that is Alpha Badar becomes the Second in command to the Alpha of the Alphas, so congratulations Alpha Badar and good luck to the both of you.

But, in this story, not all of the wolf rank will be mentioned. Alpha: Alphas are the leader of the pack. They usually have more superior abilities than the other wolves. They control the pack and they make rules for the pack members. One Alpha needs to know the other packs' Alpha to make several agreements with the other packs to avoid war or events that are not good for their pack. Their Mates are called the Female Alpha or the Luna. (modern stories of werewolves call the female alpha Luna)
