My breath hitched as the cell dissolved around me, the smoke-like shadows receding until the scent of Aurora’s skin and the warmth of our bed brought me back. Aurora and my brothers are all fast asleep. Even Logan and Violet have snuck in the snuggle with us. I nudge my mate on the shoulder to wake her up as her green eyes blink open. I furrowed my eyebrows wondering who had visited. She and I left the car and went into the house. Nikolas was in the hallway with his right hand in a heated conversation but we were too far away to hear a word they were saying. "Nik!" Aurora yelled as she ran to her brother.
