The Hating Game

The Hating Game

Oak never thought, he would become this much weak to a point where he started crying embarrassingly. He cried until he felt a little relieved. Then he closed his book and stood up from the chair. He went to his bed and lied down. Again he was thinking about the memories he shared with Phet. Phet told him, he would wait for him but he moved on so fast. Oak couldn't help but shed more tears and wipe them away furiously.

I was seriously going to stop reading this book as it is a bit expensive and the story was deviating from the central plot. But today I unlocked a chapter again and I am totally happy after reading it. And I found the author cut out some irrelevant Oakphet portions and added new content. Good work👍

I roll down, tumbling and crying for help because this gruesome creature was near. I tried climbing a tree and jumped on it but missed a branch and feel down breaking my ankle in the process and I cried out helplessly and lay there in pain, not able to move and this ugly looking Gar roared and I could see it's sharp canines with blood dripping from it and ready to devour me.

Eclipse of the Heart

Eclipse of the Heart

;Maia was reading a book under the tree in the backyard of the pack house. She has been there for almost half an hour, enjoying the wind and the sun. She has no plan to mess with the big bad wolf today because she was so sure that Oakley was not going to do her condition and he's probably irritated at her because of what she has done yesterday.

Olive's Roommate

"Can you take me there to find him? I'm a little scared alone." Olive bent her lips and gently said, "Sure." The sun was so strong that the wind was boiling hot. Olive opened the sunshade and was pulled forward by the little Ashley. She was short and had a small step, but she walked very fast, jumped around, and seemed to be in high spirits. Ashley pulled her straight to the position of the tree she had just pointed to. It was not until she was near the tree that Olive began to feel that something was wrong.

September Ends

September Ends

" Serina firmly said while Paul nodded at her, promising that this must happen, at whatever cost that hinders on the way. Then both of them walk out together from the shade of the oak tree. "It was a promise witnessed by this century-old tree." "I doubt that tree is that old." "K-Town had lots of history and myths!" "Yeah, I know...kinda weird on how non-sense some of the myths are." "The tree witnesses us, so you better do it, unless you want to be buried." Thus, the promise at the first of September started at the grass field, below the oak tree were two people that had bonded deeper than tree roots, made a promise unto one another...

The Lycan King's Affection

The Lycan King's Affection

A moment that was supposed to bring every mother joy filled me with only dread. The frustration was palpable - we were making no progress. We were simply wandering blindly through the maze of trees. Dread settled heavier in my gut with every fruitless step. Finally, as the last rays of half-light faded, Ophelia stopped and turned to us. "Let me try something." I watched apprehensively as she stepped up to a gnarled oak tree and pressed her palms against the bark. Her eyes slipped closed as she began whispering under her breath. Old tongue.

Alpha’s regret : The return of his rejected mate

" He reached into his rags and pulled out a handful of dust. It wasn't gray dust. It was red. Rust-colored. He blew it up the shaft. "Go," he whispered. "Blight the roots. Starve the Stone." THE BLIGHT MAYA’S P.O.V. I sat in the branches of the Great Oak the Martha Tree on the porch of the farmhouse ruins (now a shrine in the middle of the city). I was listening to the roots. Usually, the roots sang. They hummed with water and nitrogen and life. Tonight, they were screaming. Thirst. Thirst. Thirst.

The Blind Alpha

But the thought of him being hurt, of me somehow causing him pain… it was a strange sensation, a tangled knot of emotions I couldn't unravel. "Where are we even going?" I finally asked, breaking the silence. Nana gestured towards a clearing ahead, sunlight dappling the forest floor in a mosaic of light and shadow. "There's a place I want to show you." We entered the clearing, and my breath hitched. In the center stood a towering oak, its branches reaching towards the sky like gnarled fingers. The air around it crackled with an unseen energy, a sense of ancient power that sent shivers down my spine.
