Rowan bent to pick it up. He stopped halfway. "This isn't another letter." He turned it over. It was a drawing. Simple. Made with charcoal. A little girl sat on a swing. A woman stood behind her, pretending to push while the little girl laughed. In one corner, someone had drawn a large oak tree. Its trunk split into two near the ground. I stared at it. "I know that tree." Everyone looked at me. "I've seen it." "Where?" Kael asked. "I..." The answer was there.

Three hours had passed without me noticing a single minute. I looked down at the open sketchbook. The drawing covered the entire page. The oak tree stood strong in the center, its heavy branches casting long, shaded light across the grass. In the foreground, the small yellow lilies looked almost real, their thin petals catching light made entirely out of unpainted white paper. It was detailed, neat, and sharp.

POV: DARIUS The first light of morning creeps slowly through the trees while the forest still smells like smoke and broken magic. I stand at the edge of the clearing and stare at the well dug ground in front of me.. No one speaks. The entire pack stands quietly beneath the branches of the Moon Tree. It is the oldest tree in our territory. Huge. Ancient. Its trunk is so wide it would take five wolves just to circle it and the branches stretch out over the clearing like giant arms. Pale white bark glows faintly under the early morning light and the leaves whisper softly every time the wind moves through them.

“When she gave you the ability to hide your scent, where did you go to ask her for help?” The woman glanced at Oliver, who looked as equally as baffled as she was. “That old oak tree.” She pointed to a large majestic tree, that sat directly at the edge of the clearing, we walked over to it and noticed a pattern carved deeply into the bark… “it’s the lunar cycle.” “The Luna oak!” Oliver quickly dropped to his knees in front of the tree out of respect. “I’ve only ever seen pictures… It’s said that the original lycans planted it, in respect of the goddess herself.” It was the perfect place for me to attempt to make contact again.

The compound was popularly known as The Oak. We have the Lady of the oak who was Sumaya, as well as the princes of the Oak. The servants and the slaves of the Oak who were also known as the Oak's commodity. But how could anyone claim to know what happens beneath The Oak? It sounds absurd. Especially the fact that their couldn't be anything beneath the plantation or the numerous chambers.

Aaron stared at the tree and slowly got up before he walked to the tree with trembling legs, he went closer to the tree and everyone saw the tree slowly die and wither. He touched the trunk of the three and slowly punched it, that was when Alastair helped him and punched the trunk thus breaking it and finally revealing a very beautiful woman, wearing ancient white robe, with a flower crown over her head sleeping peacefully in the trunk, there was also a necklace around her neck.
