Why were they whispering? Pressing my ear against the door didn't work. They were whispering too quietly. Curiosity won me over, and I bent, placing my eye gently against the keyhole. My mouth naturally gaped as my other eye closed. It was Xander and Spencer, and their backs were to the door. Slowly, I turned the knob, as silent as a sneaking kitten. They were so engrossed they didn't notice me, but thankfully, they were more audible. “That's cruel. I'm concerned.” Spencer said.

I could imagine her laying on her stomach, surrounded by the corpses of beheaded baby dolls, kicking her feet as she wrote out, “Riley + Phineas = forever.” I was going to kill them both. ‘Calm down with the stabby, death urges and pay attention.’ From out the corner of my eye, I saw a flash of silver hair and dark clothing. I knew it was the Whisperer by the way he moved freely throughout the room. While I couldn’t exactly turn his way, I swore he tipped his head in my direction. Phineas cleared his throat, garnering the attention of everyone at the table. He smoothed down the lapels of his jacket and flattened his hands on the arms of his chair.

I listen for footsteps, but I’m met by silence. “Dalton?” I force out his name in a soft whisper like I’m afraid to say it any louder. I turn to look down the darkened hallway and grip the banister to help guide my way through the dark. The hallway splits into a T. Light pours from a closed door down a hallway to the left. I suck in a breath, fighting to get my nerves in order before storming down the hall and throwing open the door with so much force it bounces off the wall.

But the end of what was unclear. I searched the abyss and found nothing. Fear overwhelmed me; images started to appear one by one. Cleo, Prue, work, mum, and the last was Damian. Each disappeared as if they were smoke. Whisps filled the air and dissipated one at a time until there was only one left. The whisp from Damian floated across to me. It morphed into a guiding light as the ticking became faster. Something deep inside felt the pull; I needed to follow it. Step by step, one foot in front of another, I followed his light. It led me to a door in the middle of the abyss. The door stood solid in front of me as the whisp passed through it and disappeared.

I chucked the ice at his chest laughing at his expression. Eric sighed, placing a kiss on my cheek gently. He held my hand circling us in shadows once more. I froze as he pulled away. Seeing as we now stood at the door to my room. “Goodnight Love.” He hummed before vanished down the hall in a swirl of shadows. I watched him go the breath going out of me. In my room Emma was lying on the bed staring at the intricate ceiling. Justin paced alone the floor his blades at his sides gleaming in the moonlight. They both perked up upon seeing me.

A suddenly shy Elizabeth whispered before pressing her lips together, adjusting them to a wonderful kiss she received from the succulent lips that seduced her rage. "And I knew that he'd let me in, somehow!" Mauve squealed promptly as her dark eyes landed on the brown-coloured door of a room that was seemingly the only one that had survived the fire. She deftly flew in its direction and halted in the doorway. Her ears were instantly hugged by disembodied whispers and whines of the unknown. As if under a spell, she locked her eyes on the door that was now looking back at her with menace and horror. "YOU ARE DOOMED!"

It was a surprise that the news about her ending up as a sex slave wasn't brought to light. A gentle breeze slipped into her room through the ajar window, caressing her cheeks with a comforting touch. Orangy leaves floated down from their branches, forming small heaps on the ground. Squirrels chirped, hiding in the branches, diligently cracking nuts, while others hopped around, eagerly searching for more. Just then, someone suddenly knocked on the door. 'Danise?' she thought. "Danise, didn't you..." As soon as she opened the door and saw who it was, she trailed off.

Annika cheerfully exited their room and began walking to the library. Then suddenly she walked past Kurt’s brother’s room and then she stopped. She started to get curious as to what the inside looked like. Annika went near the door and stared at it. She really didn’t want to pry but her curiosity is starting to beat her to it. Theodore’s voice was low. “Violet.” Someone behind the door whispered. “Don’t leave me.” The world stopped. Not a recording. Too close. Too raw. A woman’s voice. Older than the singing girl.
